This place is amazing! All of the food was very fresh, with nice sized portions. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. I went there for a business lunch this week and took my fiance back later that same day for dinner. Really good and will be going back since we live right down the street.

What a delightful little spot to grab a meal. The ambiance is tended to with a neat and tidy dining room although the lighting was a bit abrasive. Could be warmer and less intense. The staff were kind and always had a smile. The woman in line ahead of me enthusiastically told me that she comes once a month to get her Greek fix…she craves it. Head over to their locally owned Oregon City location on the backside of ACE Hardware. It will become your new addiction.

“Lemon and Rosemary” two of my favorite things. Life is too short to not eat good food. This place makes good food easy. This is my 5th order from here. Everything is always cooked fresh and perfect. The staff takes the time to make sure everything is in the bag that I order. Today’s order has been my go to favorite, Rice pudding and chicken. Oregon City needed a restaurant like this. It’s a bit hard to find the first time you go( by Carl Jr in Winco parking lot)but worth looking for.

Fantastic new Greek place in Oregon City, really friendly atmosphere and staff, our server Reynah (sorry if I spelled that wrong) was INCREDIBLE, one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had in a restuarant – she even asked if I wanted a to go box before I got up from the table to go ask, her attention to our table even though it’s a counter-service restaurant was very impressive and not something you’re used to getting at places like this! One of the managers even offered to watch the security footage of my dad’s past visit to check for something that was left there, really lovely of her to offer!
The food was heavenly as well; my father always gets lamb gyros at every Greek place we go and gives this one his seal of approval. I had the lamb on their loaded fries which were delicious! The feta cheese is generous and it’s a really interesting fusion that is essentially greek poutine, I highly recommend it! The portion of fries they gave me was also HEAPING, my dad and I both ate our fill of them and still had about half to go home with some of the feta cheese sauce! The price might shock you at first but it’s an appropriate amount of food for it and definitely felt worth the $18! Try it while you can but I think it should be a permanent menu item personally, doesn’t seem like there’s anything they don’t already have around on it! I would love the idea to put it over their lemon potatoes. Oh and don’t be worried about soggy fries, they were crisp, fluffy and amazing even buried under all that sauce, meat and cheese – not just some cheap fry they keep in the freezer and reheat!
Some of my feedback after the one experience, it would be great to have a side-sized tadziki on the menu; $8 for the appetizer version wasn’t what I was really looking for, a smaller option to dip the extra fries in would be nice! The restaurant also NEEDS good blinds, the window are oriented in a way where the sun beats down in the afternoons and makes the restaurant uncomfortable at some of the tables – if it wasn’t such a nice place I’d consider that a negative star for the atmosphere but it really was such a lovely and clean environment with mostly permanently-shaded seating that I don’t think it deserves to be THAT much of a deal breaker, but feel free to disagree.

If you like fresh food made from scratch, then this is worth a stop. The Great Greek offers a casual setting, with fast service, and great food at a fair price. Feel free to grab and go or sit at a table and take your time.

This place is really good. Tried a verity of things. Everything was delicious. The food coming out to customers while I was waiting looked fantastic. I loved the sampler plate of different dips w/pita bread. The soup was very tasty. Would be a good soup to get if your not feeling well also. Really good food. It’s getting hard paying good money for crappy food anymore. I was not disappointed in anything, everything was so good.

My husband and I ordered the gyro special combo. I got regular gyro meat and my husband all lamb ( which you have to pay extra for). The lamb was chewy and it seemed I got double the meat in mine. Combo comes with fries and drink. Fries were really good. My daughter got the falafel pita. She did not like the meat. The place was clean. Lots of seating.

Nice clean little shop. First time there and ordered pick up to-go. Ordered the Hummus App, Chicken Souvlaki and Gyro Plate. Salads were very fresh, fries are battered! Yea! I could say more, (all positive) but won’t. Welcome to Oregon City! We’ll be back! Recommended!
