Very high quality food and service. The ribeye was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the truffle mushrooms were fantastic. They have a nice wine and beer selection. Our waiter was always attentive and worked to split our check with a big group. It’s definitely expensive but it’s a nice treat. Make a reservation if you have a bigger group.

Food very delicious. Traditional real steakhouse. Excellent decor. Two could eat the ribs and a Caesar and take some home. Sam our waiter is 10 star service. Can’t go wrong here. Excellent. Open Thursday-Sunday. You may want a reservation. Wear your finer attire. A high end establishment and it backs it up. Highly recommend.

This was my pick when my dad asked to treat me & my husband for my birthday; it came highly recommended from a friend, and it was a wonderful experience! Such great food! We started with refreshing Moscow Mules and a bread basket w/ various textures including a yummy & delicate cracker, my favorite. For the rest of our meal we ordered:
{Appetizer} Campfire Shrimp – applewood bacon wrapped shrimp, garlic whipped potatoes, crispy fried potatoes…SO good and highly recommend!
{Soup du Jour} Cream of Asparagus – just okay
{Salad} House Salad (subbed w/ mixed greens instead of iceberg) – my dad & I chose this option and it was served family style; it could have easily fed all 3 of us!
{Entree #1} Braised Beef Short Ribs – w/ crispy onions, sweet potato puree, baby carrots, & asparagus – my choice & so delectable!
{Entree #2} Cajun Glazed Meatloaf – w/ garlic whipped potatoes, jumbo asparagus & cajun glaze sauce – meatloaf was a bit dry but glaze was fantastic!
{Entree #3) Prime Rib w/ Mixed Wild Mushrooms – prime rib was so tender and mushrooms were perfectly prepared.
We spent over two hours here. Our server was super accommodating and my birthday dessert was on the house =) We will most definitely be back to try more of their offerings!

What an AMAZING experience! Steve and his son, the team we had, are out of this world incredible!!! Food is of such high quality (thank you chef and team) and the care I and my 88 year old mother received was unbelievable. This is the example of you get what you pay for. Hats off to this wonderful gem. Thank you for the lovely memories.

What a hidden gem and inside of the Ameristar Casino building no less! The menu is small but when the food is this good you don’t need a vast selection. Some of the meals do not come with a side, expect a charge for additions to meals. I had the surf and turf, 7oz filet with shrimp and a side of Brussels sprouts. The steak is like butter, literally melting in your mouth, the flavor of the shrimp was just as impressive. The sprouts could have used something maybe a balsamic glaze or some candied bacon but they were good. My husband had the ribs, it comes with a baked potato. He could not stop talking abiut these ribs so I took a bite and he wasn’t wrong they were incredible. You’re given a small dish for the bones but why bother when you have to fork eat these tender fall off the bone ribs? The baked potato was standard but still delicious. We shared a caesar salad as an appetizer and it was perfect. The bread flows and it is a perfect pairing to the meals. The dessert menu looked superb, we didn’t have any room left and did not partake. It is true what they say, you get what you pay for, do not sleep on this place, it is worth every penny!

I have to admit, every time I’ve been here is with my mom and stepdad and it’s always been free because they like to play some slots. We always end up getting 3 orders of prime rib and it’s always been consistently good.
Over the years their menu has changed several times. I remember at one point they had a lot of game on there like alligator and snake. It’s much more basic now but they still do things well. The house salad with the parmesan ranch is really good. They also make a decent manhattan.
I don’t really gamble so I only come here when my parents take me. If you happen to be at the casino I think it’s a great choice but I don’t think it’s worth a trip.

Service is always amazing and the food quality is top notch. The last trip we were seated infront of the fireplace and i almost passed out from the heat. I should have said something but i really didnt notice till the end of the meal. There remodeling and serving next door temporarily so not quite in the restaurants usual domain. But a great meal none the less
