After driving by for years and admiring the exterior color and architecture of this gem, I finally stopped in! I ordered 3 street tacos – Carne asada, Coliflor Rojo and fried avocado. All there were yummy but for me I ended on the Carne asada because they were so deliciously juicy!
I had the Doyer blue margarita and it went down like water! It was dangerously good!
Vanessa brought great energy and service to the table! Her contagiously lovely disposition and a menu to explore further will have me going back soon! It was a good night out!

Very tasty food. The lamb taco is good, and we also had the bone marrow sopes which is very tasty. Chips is not free but very high quality. Highly recommend the seared fish taco as well.

Okay, Mexican food is not in my top five favorite foods, but I do enjoy it. This place is unique with several of their dishes including a duck burrito, first I’ve ever seen. I think what was outstanding here too was the simple excellent quality of guacamole and they’re outstanding margaritas! They have a margarita flight, though I don’t drink, my friends thought it was excellent! This seems to be an Eagle Rock favorite and there’s typically a line out the door. Service is always been excellent, been here twice, and I would definitely visit again.

Our friend who lives in the neighborhood has been raving about this place since we met him, and when we finally found ourselves in the area, we had to check it out — and wow, it absolutely lived up to the hype.
Everything we ordered was bursting with flavor and creativity. I had the Chile Relleno, and it was out of this world — perfectly cooked, nestled in a beautiful and spicy green sauce that brought everything together. Truly an unusually delightful experience — nothing was basic or average here.
You can taste the care, artistry, and love that go into the food. We left completely satisfied and already planning our next visit. A must-try for anyone who loves bold, elevated Mexican cuisine done right. ️❤️

Incredible mole! I definitely recommend bringing an appetite… the burrito I ordered was massive. The chips and salsa are unlimited and had some great heat. The servers were friendly and checked in a lot which was good because I needed lots of water for the amazing salsa!

It took an hour waiting for a to-go order. When I got home they had given me the wrong order and when I came back to tell them they were dismissive and unapologetic and refused to right the error. When I asked to speak to the manager they pretended she wasn’t there. All of this drama over a burrito? I used to be a regular at this place bc the food is good but the service is non-existent. Won’t be returning.

Good happy hour. Inside has a nice cantina style bar area with a few TVs. Highlights of the happy hour are the $4 beers, $9 margaritas and good specials. Food is pretty good. Loved the nachos. Service good. There’s street parking but you might have to walk a block or two.

Masterful street Tacos
I was in the local area and remembered coming here awhile back with friends and enjoying it. So I returned back to dive into the menu further.
I decided to go with some street tacos off their menu to see if they could actually compete with street tacos In Los Angeles, because LA has quite the street taco scene.
Wonderful selection of street tacos were available, I decided to go with 3 as follows:
Chicken (with mole added, yum!)
Duck Carnitas
And of course the ol AL Pastor (with caramelized pineapple on top!)
These tacos were fantastic. The ingredients were of high and fresh quality, the handmade blue corn tortillas, the masterfully cooked meats, and the combination of fresh and thoughtful flavor combinations all mixed together was perfection and is what tacos are all about to me.
In addition to the quality food, I was met with quality service for dine in. I was asked multiple times by multiple staff if I needed anything. They even switched the TV station to TNT so I could watch the NBA playoffs when I asked if it was possible.
Definitely come check out this restaurant if you have an opportunity.
P.s. if planning a visit with people, do take into account phone service quality is a bit spotty In the restaurant.

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area! The space is small and quite loud at night, but the overall experience is great. The staff were also very friendly. We had the pinches nachos with the birria meat that was delicious, and then the Carne Asada quesadilla was also fantastic. Overall it was great and I hope to come back soon!
