Don’t be put off by the plain exterior or the low ratings. When you see many elderly people at a restaurant, you can bet the flavor is authentic and exceptional. Every time I’ve come, the Sweet and Sour Fried Egg with Shredded Vegetables is a must on the table; something so simple, yet it leaves such a lasting impression. It can get busy in the evenings, but I’ve never had to wait long or have difficulty securing a table. This restaurant also has the option for you to bring your own seafood (lobster, fish, crab, etc), you choose a flavor/ style and they’ll make it for you. As of August 2024 it was $10/pound for labor, which compared to other restaurants is a very good deal and price. The owners are also here, one in the kitchen and one out serving, so you can count on the flavor and service being top notch.

Very authentic Cantonese!!! Tastes like back in Canton!!! Staff friendly too. Call to book beforehand to avoid queue, they are very popular especially dinner time. Wish they open a restaurant in Sydney, we like it so much that we went back the second time even though we only had 3 days in LA. We brought their menu back in Sydney as our LA travel souvenirs! Everything is on point, highly recommended!

This restaurant does not have a fancy name, nor does it attempt to do anything visually fancy. But what it has is authentic and traditional Cantonese food prepared by someone highly skilled and know what it takes to prepare good Cantonese dishes. Which is rare in SGV because a lot of popular restaurants are either Hot Pot or Szechwan style with hot and spicy food, while also good, hides the freshness and texture of food. Fine Cantonese cuisine is all about highlighting and brining out the freshness and texture of the ingredients. And all good Cantonese chef knows that.

Everything we ate was great. Fresh, not overly salty my guest really enjoyed it and she’s very discriminating on her taste. Right next to a hotel. Highly recommend . excuse the pics. We were eating

Had to wait long to get the food after ordering. One table seated next to us actually started complaining to the staff about the wait and walked out. The food was okay. Not worth the wait. When paying, we were told the credit card machine was broken and that we needed to pay in cash.

When a restaurant is busy on week nights, it can’t go wrong.
The food is good. We brought our own fish to the restaurant to cook for us. Service charge for the fish is $10 per pound.
