We came here for our five-year anniversary and the sushi was absolutely phenomenal!! The crab Rangoon was definitely the best I have ever had, it was very thin and crispy and not greasy. The only reason I’m giving four stars is the atmosphere was very lacking. It was super bright and felt a bit like a cafeteria. I feel like if they added some dimming lights, it would make it much more cozy. Our server was very kind, but they seemed a bit short of staff, so she wasn’t able to be as attentive. Other than that, she was a great waitress. I hope in the future they make some improvements to cozy up the atmosphere, it would make dining much more pleasurable. I would also like to see more Japanese artwork, I think it adds to the cultural experience.Either way, we will definitely be back.

We came here on a whim since pulling up to Sakai Buffet and realizing that it was permanently closed. I’m so happy we did because the food was fresh, delicious and the portions were good. I’ll be back.

Very good dinner! Our first time here and was highly recommend by family and friends. I forget the name of the noodle dish I had but it was enough for 2 people. It’s garlic sauce, onion, mushroom and shrimp. My husband had The Hulk rolls and Kiss of Fire and loved them. We will definitely be back!!!!

I cannot speak highly enough about this place. Umi Sake has some of the best sushi in the area! I have been coming here for the last 6 years, and it never disappoints. The only drawback is the ambiance. The overall aesthetic of the restaurant feels a bit dated and could really use a refresh. Aside from that, this place is great!

An update… I was in town visiting the area and stopped here to eat. I was not disappointed. The food is still amazing. I’d suggest the No Name Roll and the Mango Sunrise Roll. Both are very delicious. The staff were courteous and our server was attentive.
By far the best sushi place around. Nowhere do they advertise that they are an authentic Japanese restaurant so the other reviewer was under the wrong impression. Their website clearly states they serve Asian cuisine. Their prices are decent and the sushi was always fresh. We never had a problem with the food or the service. We have since moved away from the area and haven’t found anything that even comes close to comparing.

The food was delicious, with large portions for a great price. I got the Shanghai Garlic Noodles, Shrimp Tempura, Miso Soup, and Chocolate Lava Cake. The atmosphere was very cozy and the service was great.

I come here often for sushi and Sakē. I can’t speak to the other food items but the sushi is usually fresh and delicious but I came the other night and the house tempura roll tasted less fresh than usual, I had it anyway and sure enough it made me sick a few hours later. Service is a hit or miss. The atmosphere is outdated and very plain. They could revamp and make it a better atmosphere.

This place is not as good as I remember, but it’s still good. The presentation is lacking, but the sushi itself is very good. Great service. Everyone is really friendly and nice and go out of their way to help you. The spicy tuna hand roll wasn’t too good, but the hotter then he’ll roll awesome. The vegetarian roll was just that, a vegetarian roll..nothing too special. Come to this place if you’re in the area and are lost for what you want.
The soup was kinda bland btw..not hot or sour.

Fish was fresh and delicious but the most incredible part was the amount of fish! The nigiri pieces had the largest portions of fish I’ve ever encountered and the maki rolls were packed with fish. Hands down one of the best sushi experiences I’ve had.
