I like this place, but I’ve tried a few different things now, and their tostadas are by far the best. I recently tried the chicken tacos and (unlike the chicken tostada) the shredded chicken is just boiled/completely unseasoned. This time I figured I would just ask for the seasoned chicken to go on the tacos instead. They called me to tell me that they couldn’t make the tacos that way because they are “pre made” with the unseasoned chicken… I then asked if it was possible to just throw some of the seasoned chicken onto a hard shell and the employee told me that they just couldn’t do that… maybe I’m wrong, but usually when a restaurant makes their food fresh, you can make small substitutions. Anyway, I wouldn’t order anything with shredded chicken unless it’s the tostada, everything else seems to be the unseasoned, boiled chicken that they won’t swap out

I have long been coming here for years . . . once last year, once the year before and once the year before that, etc. They have my all-time favorite Pollo Asado burrito. It is a fajita-styled burrito and is excellent and rather large. They also have great carrots and salsas too.
That’s just about all I ever get. Maybe a quesadilla too.

Bad service and expensive menu.
I ordered one salad, (they don’t charged me, obviously i didn’t get it until i claimed ) one taco, (very little meat for $4) and a large drink for $3 (they give me small) as you see the soda machine looks very nasty. Don’t recommend it.

Shop has been there 20+ years- I wish they put more LOVE into their food…Chile Relleno was scary bad—taquitios says with guacamole, but it is a watered down version and NOT guac as it says on the board. Bring back the avocado tomatillo salsa crema standard with the red sauce..It is gone -replaced with a lack luster tomatillo salsa… was wishing for Jose’s last time there!

The restaurant looks authentic. I walked in and we ordered two Chile relleno specials and some enchiladas. The food came out and honestly the best thing were the beans. The chile rellenos were ok. What really was a miss for us were the enchiladas. They were underwhelming. The sauce was not fresh it tasted like it came from a can. Definitely won’t go again.

Just ordered food there for the second time, and hot dang their red hot sauce is good! It has a sweet tang to it yet it’s still hecka spicy. Don’t ever change that hot sauce recipe! Will be back.
