Idk why it’s taken me so long to try The Hornet’s Nest. The Cajun burger was hands-down the best burger I’ve ever had, not to mention the fried pickles, corn nuggets omg, mozzarella sticks & the homemade honey mustard & ranch It’s my new favorite spot. The owner, James, is awesome!! And the waitress, Jasmine, is the sweetest & cutest stinkin thing! If you haven’t been yet, I highly recommend you check them out!

My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of trying The Hornet’s Nest for the first time yesterday, and it was exactly what we were hoping for. We were craving that classic local diner feel, and that’s exactly what we found.
The menu offered a great variety, and everything that we ordered was fantastic. We left feeling the best kind of fat and happy. The food tasted fresh and homemade, nothing about it felt processed or mass produced.
The staff was incredibly kind. Jasmine took great care of us and even sent us home with a coupon for our next visit, which we’ll definitely be using.
Overall, The Hornet’s Nest reminded me of the local spots I grew up eating around Birmingham, the kind of places that always outshine any chain restaurant.
I’m not usually the one to leave reviews, but this place deserves more attention. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

The Hornets Nest is truly the definition of a hidden gem! I ordered the garlic burger, and it was incredibly fresh, clean, and handmade from scratch. The service was just as impressive! My server, Jasmine, was outstanding. She made sure I had everything I needed and went above and beyond.

Visited The Hornets Nest tonight and decided to go with the Cajun Burger, ordered double meat and I must say, that thing was so good that my mouth is watering right now thinking about it while writing this review…the pickle chips were fresh and crisp. Our Senior adults from Providence Baptist church ate at The Hornets Nest today for our monthly Meet and Eat, Mr Little was so accommodating to our little crowd! He knew we were coming so he was prepared for us. My waitress was Jasmine and she did a great job of taking care of us! My meal was delicious and I didn’t hear any complaints from our group. Just moved here from Tennessee and saw there was a cute little restaurant not far from my house so I decided to give it a try. I was greeted very kindly by Jessica who gave me great service. She came back to check on me and make sure my drink never went empty which I always appreciate! I ordered the Burger fries and mac and cheese. The burger was outstanding juicy and perfectly cooked BHT not greasy and the fries must have been cooked in an air fryer because they were a perfect light airy crispy fry that were seasoned very well. And the mac and cheese was to die for! I’m definitely coming back soon for more! Thank you so much Jessica fir your sweet service and the amazing food!
