Was take here while visiting the area. It’s a cozy spot with with alot of locals, I had the 3 piece dark with baked beans and potato salad. The beans were okay and the potato salad was okay also. The chicken was fresh fried and piping hot. With a little hot sauce I was good to go! And the iced tea was nice!

Everything was great! The fried chicken is top notch with a little kick. Love the flavor. The fries are really good and the baked beans were much better than I anticipated. They have red bean in them which threw me off, but turned out to be tasty!
My youngest enjoyed her Mac and cheese, buy she’s a kid lol. I didn’t try it, so I can’t make any judgments there.
But, if you are in the mood for some hot and fresh fried chicken definitely stop here!

Their fried chicken was super juicy, yummy, and very crispy the flavored chicken was so good, and the fries also had a great taste. Don’t forget to grab a cake for dessert! Their chocolate cake was awesome too
Nothing compared to fast food. We love this place! It’s definitely dangerous because it’s so delicious and addictive! We will definitely come back in a few weeks.
We ordered at the counter and took them out. It took approximately 10-15mins to get ready. They recommended making a phone order, which was easier for sure.

Good fried chicken. A bit salty. Coleslaw was tasty but hushpuppies were bland. Friendly, eclectic low key eating area with covered outdoor seating as well. Lots of TVs over bar area.

The reviews were spot on. The chicken tenders were very large and juicy. Also, the tamales were great. You have to try the Mac & Cheese. Definitely stop in again before leaving town. The update stopped back in, and it was just as good as the 1st time. Also, I got a good picture of the sign that says “please seat yo self” for the people not knowing what to do.

The fried chicken is the real deal: thick, juicy, well-seasoned, and hot every time. This is not fast-food chicken. This is sit-down chicken.
Service is always solid, and the place has that relaxed Southern roadhouse feel. The tamales are the old Mississippi Delta style, and they’re legit.
Only knock: the sides are just okay. But when the chicken and tamales are this strong, you won’t care. This is my go-to fried chicken spot on the Gulf Coast.

This was my 1st time visiting here for dine in. My husband recommended that I eat here because he has. I must say the food & customer service were great. I had the 4 piece chicken tender meal. The biggest chicken tenders that I’ve had before. I will definitely be back to try the fried chicken meal.
