I really wanted to like this sweet place, but it was a huge disappointment. I was appauled to see the bill was $76 for food that I could have made myself at home. We were told that sides come with the sandwiches but we were then charged for them. We all got coffees and/or boba. I love boba, but it was very disgusting. The pearls were more like jelly and it did not taste like normal boba pearls that I would normally get from other locations. The buffalo sandwich lacked flavor and the tomato/mozzarella panini had old spinach thay was starting to become slimy. It also had no sauce at all. Maybe some balsamic just to coat the pallet. The soup was cold. Also, if I am paying $76 dollars, don’t use paper plates.

We had seen lots of reviews for this place, and made a trip to pendleton just to try it. It is not worth the prices being charged. One and done.

Just off of Main Street in Pendleton, Sophie’s Bagels is a nice lunch or coffee/tea option.

The shop is in a former 1930’s gas service station building neatly refurbished as a coffee and bagel shop but with tasteful hints of the building’s former life retained. The decor is pleasantly bohemian and in fine weather, the restaurant opens up to be open air. Quite an interesting layout.

The staff is very attentive and helpful from owner Krishna to the rest of the staff. We were made to feel comfortable and at home on our first visit.

I had a lox bagel sandwich on a garlic bagel. My friend had a hummus and veggie sandwich on a pumpernickel bagel with some butternut squash soup. The bagels were delicious and the sandwiches looked appealing. The soup was especially good. On a slightly off note, the coffee was very ordinary. We regretted not getting some boba tea.

The prices were not low so this might be more of a special occasion spot than an everyday location but the quality was deserving of the price.

Pro Tip: The shop closes at 2PM and some kinds of bagels were already sold out at 1PM when we arrived. It would be wise to visit at noon or earlier if possible in order to get the complete selection.

First time going here. Was a very cute hometown bagel shop. Got a veg out cheddar bagel and turkey bacon bagel. The bagels were so fresh. Little crispy on outside and chewy in the middle. Very friendly and pretty quick. Will be back for breakfast!

Delicious. Breakfast on a Thursday. Service was top-tier; very knowledgeable. Onion bagel with lox was excellent; best lox I’ve had in this state. Wife had the bubble tea ( SOOOO MANY OPTIONS FOR BUBBLE TEA, truly overwhelming, but the staff was able to walk us through it.) I had the dark roast; I’ll have to go back and try the cold brew next time. Would definitely recommend; would go out of my way for on a weekday lazy morning.

Great food options! The boba teas were a super sweet for our taste (we usually get options of less sweet at boba tea places) but they had gluten free bread options!

Sophie’s was great! I will definitely be returning. The service was amazing. I went on a nice day where the patio was opened. The atmosphere was very refreshing. I had the buffalo chicken panini, which was very good. And the pumpkin muffin alone was worth the trip!

My husband and I popped in for a bagel on a Sunday. I’m a bagel fanatic, so I was pretty surprised to have never heard of this place. Bagel Fair is my go to so I have high standards. I have to say, my bagel sandwich was absolutely delicious! I got it on an onion bagel and was very impressed. My husband got the buffalo chicken panini and was expecting chicken strips as opposed to deli meat chicken. We both got iced teas, just a regular sweet tea, and they had a really unusual taste- like it had been steeping for days or something. One of the girls who brought us our food was less than friendly when my husband asked a question, but I have to say, none of that matters because the owner was so incredibly kind and sweet to talk to. We would definitely come back and would recommend it if someone was in the area. I’d love it they added some simple canned sodas for sale for us non-Boba addicted people. The restaurant itself was quaint, clean, and just adorable!

Definitely the worst bagel I have ever had in my life. Bagels were all raw and disgusting. My kids didn’t even eat them. I had to leave these bagels and go get a breakfast from somewhere else. I paid $25 for 1 plain bagel with butter , 1 bagel with cream cheese and 1 bagel with 2 slices of roasted beef and tomatoes. Store is very pretty and clean but food is barely 1 star. Please look at the color of my bagels. White as paper lol

We don’t live locally…but every time we return to visit family and friends this is a *must stop*! They have THE BEST coffee around, personal fave is the medium roast with sweet almond milk creamer (never take creamer in my coffee but this is amazing!) ..Bagels are satisfyingly yummy as are their other baked goodies. Staff is always welcoming and friendly ❤️❤️
