The sign outside says “stop in- you won’t be disappointed”. They aren’t wrong. Drinks are strong and the food is delicious. Hope to return again soon!

Having lived in cdale I had never been to this spot. Stopped in for a drink and was pleasantly surprised. It has recently been taken over by a young gentleman who was very nice! I heard the food is great. Hoping he does well!

This place is fantastic! The owners are so welcoming and treat you like old friends. They have created a fabulous place to eat, drink and have fun. The food is delicious. Anything with the house made Irish cheese sauce is a MUST, BUT save room for the homemade desserts! Plenty of cold beer on tap and not overpriced. The staff are all so friendly! The bathrooms are clean AND they stock the ladies room with items you might have a need for in a pinch- which is a detail I think should be applauded.

Excellent place. We just found this place on our drive to Lakewood. The food was amazing. we tried two different flatbreads and both were great. Wings with hot sauce was awesome as well. My wife enjoyed nice hot Chicken noodle soup
Service was amazing, staff was friendly. The chef himself came out to ask about the food. Live entertainment and fun place.

Out with a friend, stopped in it was quiet. Our bartender was very.quiet. Served us & sat at the end of the bar. By our 2nd drink we asked if she could put the football game on. She did, then back down by her phone. To play on it. It wasn’t the bar it use to be. Laf year I went there n the bartenders, the nightly entertainment, made that bar alive. Joe was fun too. I was wondering if the owns still owned. The bartender wasn’t talkable. So we left

We went there after seeing the open sign a few days ago and the two girls inside couldn’t have been nicer. The wings were perfectly cooked and burgwr was great. We will definitely be back.

This is a hidden gem in the town of Carbondale. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere in here. The food is amazing and the chef really loves what he does. They do a trivia night which I didn’t participate in personally, but I had so much fun just drinking coffee and having dinner while listening to the trivia night take place. Eric personally comes up with all of the questions and is interactive with all of the customers. I recommend trying the Guinness stew , it’s out of this world!! I left there full and with a smile on my face! This is the kind of place you can bring the whole family. I highly recommend The Chip & Stone!

I had the delicious Shepherd’s Pie Pierogi. And my friend had the Irish Mac and Cheese. She said it was the best she ever had. And I can’t say enough about the peanut butter pie. The service was great and the waitresses, owners and the chef are very warm and welcoming. And Trivia Night was loads of fun.

Decided to try this “hidden gem” and wasn’t disappointed. Settled on an off road of Route 6 you could definitely pass by it, missing a great new restaurant!
I ordered the seafood chowder and hot wings when I made my visit. Both items were great with the chowder being OUT OF THIS WORLD! It was really creamy and well seasoned and had decent sized chunks of seafood in it. The wings were perfectly crispy and not soggy with a great sauce that wasn’t thick and messy.
The interior is clean and modern for a small Irish pub and sports bar. Service was quick and wait staff was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back here again. Don t miss out and try this place for yourself!
