Wonderful Mexican restaurant. The margarita were delicious and ginormous. It’s like 3 servings in 1. The size of 3 hands! And sizzling fajitas was smoking hot and delicious. The burria meat was well marinated. I’ll be coming back, especially for happy hour

Small location. Friendly staff. Forgettable food. Not bad… Just no real reason to go back. Chips we’re good, salsa was bland. Spicy salsa doesn’t make up for bland food. Had the enchiladas and it had all 4 types, didn’t like any of them. Taco bowl had a big pile of canned Jalapenos. Tacos were left behind. Guacamole was not a hit either.
Well the margarita was cheap…

AC is broken. Service is slower. Food is borderline disgusting. Table of 6, no one ate more than a bite or two. $180.
No one even cared that no one ate anything.
So forget the part about friendly staff.

Good food, convenient location, and decent service. My main complaint is that the prices seem a tad high – high enough for me to choose other Mexican restaurants instead. However, they do have amazing enchiladas suizas, so I do come just for that dish. The tacos are mediocre – you can get much better birria tacos at Big Papis in Frederick. Overall, it’s a good option if you want to stay in Urbana, but not one of the best Mexican food options in the area in my opinion.

We discovered this place recently and have been back a few times since. The food is consistently good and well seasoned. I’m a big fan of carnitas (pictured) and they do it well. I stick mainly to the tacos (the shrimp is also very good fyi) and the bean dip, but there are plenty of other options. The drink menu also has a nice variety.

The Arroz Texano i ordered was very good. All the ingredients tasted fresh and their special cheese sauce has a good flavor to it. I think it may be my favorite dish that they serve after the chicken Chipotle bowl. The Hawaiian margarita I got had too much syrup in it so that’s the reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5. I’d still recommend this place, especially if you go for happy hour Mon-Thur.

Rice is the best the best thing you could order here. The tortilla for my enchiladas seemed it was bought at the store. I’ve had sangria before (traditional one) and I absolutely do not recommend ordering this. If you’d like to make a sangria at the same level as Cinco de Mayo, you could buy cheap wine, toss some ice and chop 5 small pieces of orange and lime and toss them in.

Inedible. I am not sure how some of these reviews are positive. I’ve never had more disgusting food than I have here. The margaritas were fine – I had to drink enough of them to wash down the nastiness of the raw meat and dried raw chicken. I’ve given it more than one chance.

Debated rating at 3 or 4 stars. We were a party of 4 for a lunch in late September 2023. Three of the four of us enjoyed our food. Me, not so much. We all had versions of their “Lolo Combo” meal, 3 with Chicken and 1 with beef. I found my combo to be not very tasty and salty. The others liked theirs. YMMV. On the plus side, the service was quick, the waiter very friendly and the food came piping hot. For 2 of us, the meal cost about $43 with iced teas and tax less tip. A bit expensive for a meal I didn’t care for.
