The ramen soup was so salty that I bet anyone who keeps eating it every day for a week will develop kidney stone very soon The pork belly was cut too thick too in my opinion, and it was a bit rough and dry
The smoked salmon sushi was really made of the smoked salmon you can find in any supermarkets omg never had something like this, not to mention the rice was too sticky. It was awful. I didn’t expect it to be anywhere near Japanese standards of course, but it was still way too disappointing unfortunately.
Also the toilet is located in the middle of the restaurant which makes half of the restaurant smells like a toilet
We had reserved seating upstairs, and when we arrived it was completely empty. Despite this, we were seated right next to the kitchen entrance. This meant constant foot traffic, doors slamming, and a cold draft throughout the evening. To make matters worse, food was dropped by the kitchen entrance and instead of being cleaned up, staff repeatedly stood on it. What started as a clump of rice quickly turned into a black mush — not exactly reassuring from a hygiene point of view.
When it came to ordering, it genuinely felt like we’d been forgotten upstairs. We waited a long time just to order drinks, and even longer to place our food order. The wait was so long that we nearly walked out.
When the food finally arrived, it was disappointing. My partner’s dish came out first, while the table next to us received all of their food together. My meal didn’t arrive until my partner had finished eating, and it was clear it had been sitting out — it was lukewarm and the katsu curry sauce had developed a thick skin.
Overall, this was the worst service I’ve experienced. What was meant to be a lovely New Year’s Eve turned into a real disappointment. We won’t be returning.
Thank goodness they didn’t ask for a tip.
The atmosphere is chilled, not too loud but not too quiet either. I can’t recommend this place enough if you like this kind of food.
