I just hope you take this as a suggestion! The food isn’t terrible, but it’s too greasy, and the fried food tastes rancid! The place looks awful; everything is old and dirty, even the main window, and the food signs are awful. You really need to pay attention to your appearance!

Delicious! I got the combo plate of Kung-Pao shrimp and shrimp fried rice. I asked for extra spicy. The ingredients were extremely fresh, veggies crisp, shrimp vein was cleaned(this is a big deal for me). Shrimp were a decent size, there was no searching around for protein. Now, the chicken wings were….. amazing! Crispy & flaky on outside, juicy on the inside. Not undercooked or overcooked. The chicken fried rice was too good to be true. At time of writing this, there is no delivery due to Covid. As someone who is a Native New Yorker, cooks a variety of authentic Asian cuisines and happens to be part Asian also, I am very impressed.

If I didn’t know better I would think East King pioneered Chinese food and restaurants.
Their food is so fresh and flavorful! Their fried rice is just as light and fluffy as unfried rice but all flavor!
If you don’t eat here it’s because you don’t have a mouth!

Absolutely delicious Crab Rangoons, GSO chicken and Sweet & Sour Chicken. The chicken tasted fresh along with the stuffed Rangoons. Fast service and they take measures to prevent the spread of Covid which is nice as well.

Ordered two lunch specials (that come with pork fried rice and a soda), the Pork and Vegetables for the Mrs and the Szechuan Chicken for me, Crab Rangoon’s and a large hot and sour soup.
Pork and Vegetables 5/5 – Char Siu Pork is wonderful with a nice mix of fresh vegetables. Would order again.
Szechuan Chicken – 4/5 – Thinly sliced chicken with peppers, onions, carrots and celery are nicely cooked. Veggies have a nice crunch, which is appreciated because it shows freshness. The sauce is not spicy at all. I need to ask them for Asian spicy in the future.
Pork Fried Rice – 3.5/5 – w/ peas, onions, carrots and minced char siu. Decent and pairs well with the entrees.
Crab Rangoon – 4/5 – Wife enjoyed these. More pieces than expected and she said that they tasted like real crab which she enjoys a lot.
Hot and Sour soup – 3/5 – Bummed about this one. Edible but it is not spicy or sour. Interestingly, it is sweet, which boggles my mind. Would not order again, which is sad because this is my favorite soup to order.
Overall, happy that we tried this place out. Looking to go back in the future to check out a few of their other items.

When I buy a pint of pepper steak, the container has always been filled with pepper steak…. not mostly steamed white rice. That is usually packed in a separate container. Lo Mein wasn’t palatable either. Very upsetting, especially for the wasting my money on it.
