Stopped in on a whim. I’m so glad we did. Are hamburgers were delicious the salad bar was loaded.. the salads on the salad bars tasted homemade. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. This is worth the stop. The staff was absolutely attentive and very friendly

Had the All American burger, it was pretty good. They toast their label on the top bun, so that was pretty good. I ordered regular ol steak fries as my side, and asked for shredded cheese on top of them. They don’t have loaded fries, so I made my own. They were alright… Could have used some Lowrey’s or some kind of seasoned salt on them, but the table salt was sufficient. Anyways… Here’s there menu.

After a quick search for nearby restaurants while passing through town, this cute resturant popped up with great reviews. With no hesitation we detoured for a stop and we were not disappointed! Sunday is all you can eat fried chicken buffet and salad bar was just what we needed! Did not have to wait long for a table either! Highly recommend and if we ever find ourselves in the vicinity again we will stop back in!

A perfect place to eat, from wraps, to Hamburger from the locals, and Tenderloin sandwiches plus more! Fresh salad bar with homemade soup! Try the appetizers, the pretzels are ones you’ve never tasted before! The atmosphere is cozy, will definitely be back!

I really wanted to love this place but I didn’t. We went in on a Friday night for the seafood buffet. After looking at it, it was a no go. Very underwhelming. We decided to stay and order off the menu. Two of us had the parmesan chicken which was very over cooked. One had wings, the other cod sandwich. Nothing was great, just ok. The manager offered to get us something else and also offered us dessert. We chose neither, but she did take the chicken off our bills. The best part was our server. She was top-notch. Not sure we would give it another try.

It’s one of the few places where you can still enjoy a truly great salad bar. It’s always well stocked with a wide variety of fresh ingredients, and the staff keeps it spotless and replenished throughout the day.
The salad bar is included with their hot bar specials, available most evenings. Our favorites are Italian night and the BBQ, though everything they serve is excellent. You can also order from the regular menu—every dish we’ve tried has been delicious. The burgers are outstanding, and the tenderloin is especially good.
Beyond the food, the service is top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about their guests. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, with both tables and booths available. You’ll often see Jo, one of the partners, greeting customers and chatting with diners—she’s wonderful and makes everyone feel welcome.

What a wonderful little addition to downtown, New Castle! My husband and I had the opportunity to have an early dinner here during the first week of business! We were very pleasantly surprised to finally have a fresh little salad bar in town! The atmosphere of the restaurant can only be described as simply elegant as it is very tastefully and simply decorated. The menu, while small offers many tempting selections, something for every pallet. We both chose to try the ribeye, cooked perfectly to our specifications, the cheesy red potatoes, were out of this world with just a hint of Rosemary really sent them over the edge, and of course we opted for the salad bar for an additional $4.00. The salad bar, though small, is mighty and fresh, boasting two selections of greenery for your base and several fresh vegetable options. The salad bar also had a couple of different pasta options, as well as a cold, broccoli salad that was amazing! The waitstaff, though young, just learning new skills, did an excellent job of taking care of their customers! Our small town has definitely needed a new restaurant option and Ky’s Bistro is a wonderful and welcomed edition to the downtown area. They do accept reservations at this time, and I can definitely see this will become necessary to get in at a time you will prefer. We look forward to many visits in the future. Such a wonderful little place to have a casual, intimate lunch or dinner for a couple, or dinner out with friends and family!

Food and service were great. We started with peanut butter and jelly wings because we’d never seen those before. They were good but needed more jelly. The chicken salad croissants were recommended for a lighter dinner and were perfect. The salad bar had a great variety, including some desserts. Definitely will come back when we’re in the area.
