Strange experience all in all. Was originally tempted in by their reasonable lunch deal and seeing as it was quiet (completely empty) decided to give it a go.
Restaurant was absolutely filthy, whole place could have done with a vacuum and with no customers inside, is inexcusable.
We ordered, were told as our food arrived that the lunch deal isn’t on over Christmas and new year. Why not? It’s advertised right at the entrance (in a massive poster). It’s now the new year and they’re still advertising this, but quietly telling customers that “the deal isn’t on”. This is dishonesty, and because of this we wouldn’t go back.
Sushi was yum, but dirtiness of the restaurant and dishonesty surrounding their “deals” tells another story.

Visited Okome for lunch and had their lunch deal, 2 courses for 11.95. The food was so tasty and such good value for money, the chicken katsu was flavoursome and rich, i did have to ask for more sauce though but the staff were so happy to give me more. I really enjoyed it and would happily reccomend and eat there again to try other things on the menu.

Really good food.! I ordered the chilli ramen and the portion was very generous considering the price. Food is fresh and good quality. It also arrived very quickly. Will always order from here if I fancy sushi or ramen. Definitely recommend!

me and my friend went in for a Boba tea. We are very unpleased with what it tasted like it made one of my friends violently sick unfortunately, we didn’t have time to get a refund but overall seems like a lovely place just avoid the Boba tea The flavours were very odd and the taste was horrible

I come to this restraunt and order from here often. The food is delicious, i thoroughly enjoy it every time. Although, whenever i order from here the same lady delivers it everytime and i have never had a positive experience with her. She looks absolutely miserable and is so unfriendly. I said to her to her when she arrived not long ago “hi how are you” and she looked up at me with such a growl and didn’t even respond. I feel bad giving a negative review, but honestly i’m just put off ordering from here now, i almost feel embarrassed every time i open the door to her because i just feel judged of some sort. Again food was delicious though thank you

Every time I go to Okome, there’s one thing that sets it apart from everywhere else. The food is phenomenal, the workers lovely and the atmosphere is great, but what really sets them apart is consistency. Every time I go, it is the same fantastic standard, the same portions of food, the same set up every time.
I’m more likely to go to Clarkston for Okome than I am to travel into Glasgow for any of the other big names.

Their food is always nice and the service is generally good. I do not want to be very wordy here but in short, I asked them something in a polite way. But one of the staff’s tone of voice and responses were quite rude. She could definitely rephrase her wordings and adjust her tone in a nicer way.
