Worst papa johns in the area. Bought a pizza tonight and was appalled that they put the pepperoni UNDER THE CHEESE. Initially I thought there was none on there so I called and complained. They proceed to tell me it’s under the cheese then lied and told me that’s how they instructed them to prepare it ! I really wanted the new pan pizza that I’ve been seeing online(pepperoni on top of the cheese in all ads ) It’s also not the first time they have messed up my order. Never going here again. They are bozos

Their pizza is savory af. It’s always cheesy and consistent. Plus you can dunk it in the garlic butter and get a explosive taste that unequivocally stimulates the taste buds of which is comparable to a magnitude 10 earthquake.
Update: the stuffed crust is a little bit pricier than their other options of course but it’s incredible. Tastes like high quality cheese sticks at the end of every piece.

Pizza was cold on arrival. Drink was completely room temp. Almost no cheese on over half the pizza. Would give 0 stars if I could. Almost $30 with delivery.

What happened to this once great location? Pizza doesn’t taste good at all. Delivery driver bought the wrong order during my daughter’s birthday party and the kids were standing around holding plates, waiting for pizza. She was handed the wrong order.
Once we ordered and paid for an extra cheese pizza and it arrived with scant amount of cheese to where the tomato sauce and bread were showing.
Pizza hut near Sam’s club has better quality and fresher pizza. We’ve made the switch.

Food – everything was good until I noticed that both pizzas had mushrooms when I only ordered one to have it.
Service – I chose pick up since I was not too far away. Got there, nobody was at the front. Tried calling hello multiple times, hoping that someone would hear since I was standing there for 6 minutes. Had to physically call the place to see if someone would come up. Nobody did. It was until one the delivery drivers pulled up to the place and was able to help. I had to ask her if she was the only one here & she had told me, that from her own understanding she was not. She was able to give me my order, which I was extremely appreciative and left. This place will never receive my coins again.

This PJ’s location is an absolute joke. My wife ordered a thin crust pizza with little cheese at 4.45pm this afternoon. The pizza arrived at 5.30pm and was burned…I mean black all over. She called the restaurant and they said that because it was a thin crust and the pizza had little cheese, it was bound to get burned…given the setting on their ovens. So obviously they have not heard of the timing thing. They agreed to give her a new pizza order with regular crust and regular cheese…but it didn’t arrive. She called at 7.15pm to determine where the pizza was and was told it was on the way. She called 10 minutes later only to be told that this was not true and that the pizza was still to be delivered. They have no idea what they are doing there…order at your peril!

I ordered a pizza on the app and unfortunately it sent it to the store off of New Bern and the 440. I intended on it going to the Wakefield location as we were driving to pick up the pizza. I got a text confirmation. The pizza was in the oven and realized it was going to the wrong store. Rebecca and Jonah were here at the intended location ( Wake Forest ) Store number 1579 and absolutely no questions asked she saved the day by making my pizza in six minutes flat I wasn’t feeling very well and didn’t really want to get out of the car after I realized the mistake I had to go in and explain everything without hesitation she had the pizza made and ready in six minutes. She was super kind and just absolutely ready to help. Great customer service even though it was my fault. I would give more than five stars if possible I frequent this location often and always I am treated well. Thank you for stepping up and saving the day. Knowing I wasn’t feeling good, they brought me the pizza to the car absolutely above and beyond service. Thank you so much.
