The food was great. The shrimp were large and tasted amazing, the okra was great, so were the hush puppies. All of the fried food was good and fried well. The food came out quick and was made fresh. There were no issues with the staff, they were friendly. The bathroom was relatively clean. The table was a bit small but it was fine.
Overall, great spot to stop for lunch on the road.

Formerly Skrimp Shack. Now Bubba’s Shrimp Shack. Shrimps are the same. Delicious. Sweet potato fries changed but they’re very good. Waffle fries now. Small shrimp basket comes with a side and drink. Even got 2 hush puppies in the basket. They are very tasty. I loved it. Fast, friendly. Dined in. Food brought out to table hot. Choice of different sauces for shrimp and fish. Will return and try other menu items. Great experience. Highly recommend.

Bubba’s Shrimp Shack has the freshest and best seafood in town. They offer deliciously prepared oysters fried to perfection, fresh flounder, huge shrimp, a great selection of fish, chicken and other seafood (including an amazing She Crab Soup with lump meat crab), all made to order and served hot.
We ordered the large flounder and shrimp basket with okra and fries. It also comes with tasty hushpuppies. All I can say is bring your appetite!!! Their house sauce is fantastic. It has just the perfect amount of spice to compliment your seafood.

The Mac and cheese. It tast like it has onions and some other stuff mixed in in. Its not bad, but not for me.
The bad
The cod fish was awful. I had a fried fish basket and when I broke open the fish it had a old fishy smell to it. It was slightly gray and did not flake well – a clear indication it was old. Covering it with tarter sauce did help much. Honestly I thought about sending it back but I figured the rest of the fish was just as bad. I worked in restaurant for 10 years and served 1000’s of lbs of fish in my time. The fish that was served to me should have been in the trash and not on a customers plate.
Not sure I would go back. When seafood is in you name the expectation is the seafood will be awesome. If it were not for that fish I would have a different opinion.

I enjoyed the large shrimp platter with fries, 2 hushpuppies, coleslaw, and about 12 shrimp with a drink for $20
It was Sunday and the owner Bubba was walking around checking on everyone. A real pleasant experience.
I really enjoyed the shrimp seasoning and seasoned fries. It came with cocktail sauce and the homemade sauce, which was very good as well

For a fast food restaurant this is a made to order style kitchen. The manager even checked on us and made sure EVERYTHING was to our liking. Great hometown feel! Mac and cheese is very good. The flounder and shrimp basket were very good!
