Food was delicious. 10/10. Went back a bunch of times and it’s a great family run food truck. The fish and chips are excellent and their chowder was superb. As it’s a small town, when they close – it may be a surprise (went once not knowing they had closed that day). Get the fried pickles if you enjoy fried pickles – they are battered with the fish batter. Delicious.

I got the (not so) popcorn shrimp and chips and the deep fried pickles and everything was amazing! The chips were super fresh and the shrimp was well seasoned and delicious. The owners are also incredibly kind and easy to talk to! I would definitely recommend checking out this spot!

Personally I like mine super crispy so next time I will say double crispy but I also got an unexpected bonus…2 deep fried pickles!

Excellent fish! The batter has great seasoning.
You can control the atmosphere because a truck is take-out. We took our meal to sit by the water.

Had a small fry here it was good. The lady at the window was absolutely amazing to talk with… went to support another food truck. The guy cooking didn’t seem to care, like wouldn’t even say hi ♀️ . The lady at the window, made up for it. I drove over an hour to go here.

Maybe I’ve been to the UK too many times but sadly I can’t say I enjoyed the fish and chips here. Fish wasn’t totally cooked through and was overly greasy. Chips were hot but just one the outside. Coleslaw was awesome!

I was actually looking for a different food truck when i stumbled upon this gem of an establishment. The mother son duo that works the chip truck is amazing. Mom does the packaging and pay system. Well the son is a true chef!
Listen, this wasn’t the cheapest chip truck I’ve been to, but the quality match the prices and I definitely was very happy with my experience. If you’re stopping by Almont anytime soon, it would be a mistake not to try this place out.

Fantastic! I had a 2 piece fish and chips with a battered dill pickle. It was soooo good. The fish was fresh, crispy and not greasy. The fries were perfection, crispy but not dried out or greasy. I come from a family of fisherman in Newfoundland and this is the best fish and chips I’ve had outside of my mother’s kitchen.

Excellent fish and chip. They no longer have cod now for fish and chips and only haddock. Got a 2 piece and one of the best fish and chips I ever had.
Not sure if I am willing to drive 35 minutes from me, especially when price was same or higher than a restaurant in Ottawa I go to with very good fish and chips too but I lived fir 2 years in UK and go out for fish and chips regularly there. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area but undecided if it is worth a 1 hr round trip…
