We stopped in for a late lunch. Bar menu had something for everyone one – I had the rum punch with a sprinkle of nutmeg and cinnamon – delicious!
Chowder was seasoned perfectly, steamy hot and full of clams!
Lobster roll was the best yet with lots of fresh lobster.
Burger was cooked to perfection.
The soup and sandwich combo is my new favorite.
Can’t wait to return to try the dinner menu!

We ate lunch at the bar because the dining room was packed. All of us got ceased salad with lobster salad on top. So good. Very nice bartender too.

We did the 1/2 lobster roll and clam chowder special. I am no expert on lobster rolls, but I loved it. The staff was very pleasant, and the price reasonable for this area.

A favorite spot of the “townies”.
One of my favorite things is to try and grab the table in the window (at the far end of the bar) and order a lobster roll and Bloody Mary and just sit and watch the world go by on Commercial Street. What a show; better than Broadway! Life is great for that hour and a half.

I was lucky enough to get here the day before they closed up for the season. I ordered the 1/2 lobster roll with a cup of clam chowder. The roll was good and the clam chowder was out of this world. The location is great with window seating right where everyone is walking around and shopping. All of the people working there were incredibly friendly and very helpful.

Great old school New England bar! Connie, the bartender is a wealth of knowledge and wonderful person. Would absolutely recommend this spot and hope to return soon!
