Our bar and deck open up at 12 pm and stay open until last call at night! Enjoy the beautiful views of the Damariscotta River as you dine on the water . Lobsterman’s Wharf has many fresh seafood options as well as some land lubber meals. Our kitchen takes orders from 12 until 3 for lunch. When done preparing those meals, the kitchen preps for dinner. We reopen for dinner at 4:30 and take orders until 7:30. The wharf and bar remain open for you to enjoy your meal and take in the views. Have fun ordering your drink at a genuine lobster boat that has grounded on our wharf. A great place for couples, families and groups!

Casual restaurant serving seafood straight from the ocean, as well as salads & sandwiches.

Beautiful view from the wharf, but you pay for it. Food is basic lobster shack fare but a few dollars more per item. Our simple lunch bill was over $60 for two people. That being said, the view and seating area are great. Very relaxing.
No table service, you get a buzzer and go get your food when ready. Soda is seldom served fountain. Parking is limited.

Great food with even better views. The pulled pork sandwich had a nice char to it and great flavor. The haddock was coated in a thin batter and cooked to perfection. And the lobster is straight from the sea, doesn’t get any fresher.

Cafeteria style ordering with food seating outdoors on wharf at picnic tables. Service was fast enough. Food not bad. Loved the relaxed outdoor atmosphere. There is a cool bar in a boat on the wharf that made for interesting atmosphere. Moderately priced. Limited menu. Would eat here again.

What a surprise little gem of a restaurant. So glad we stopped. Fantastic food – one of the best burgers I have had. Pulled pork burger got similar praise.

Clean and reasonably quiet. So glad we found it!

Cillian was a great bartender and it was a good spot to chill. Clam chowder was delicious as well. Recommend stopping by.

Stumbled upon this great little spot in East Boothbay (within walking distance of the AirBNB we stayed in). It’s the type of place where you order at a booth, and they give you a buzzer to notify you when your order is ready. The location is right on the water, with a great new pier (it even has a real lobster boat hoisted onto the pier to serve as a bar). The food is very good, the drinks are quite tasty, and the location cannot be beat. Honestly, during our week-long trip to Boothbay Harbor, the Lobsterman’s Wharf had the best food of the week.

This is a beautiful location to have a nice afternoon drink, but I was disappointed with the food on my most recent visit. The outdoor bar is well equipped, but this location used to offer a great restaurant. Sadly, this is gone and in its place is a take-out shack for food. The clam chowder was very salty, and the lobster roll (an expensive $31) was not exactly generously stuffed. As well, the lobster meat in it was soft shell, leaving the meat overly wet and somewhat squishy, not firm and delicious like hard shell meat. When I brought this to the attention of the young man taking orders and the serve-yourself take out bar, he was less than interested. He told me that it is all they can get due to the time of the year, but when I checked around (lots of lobster rolls out there!), it seems this is not really the case. So we will just go for drinks next time, enjoy the location, and dine elsewhere.

I decided to give this restaurant a try because it was close to our hotel and it had a good view on the deck outback. We ordered 2 dinner meals and I had a drink called the puffin from the bar. Which was very delicious. Strong but delicious. I was tipsy off of that one drink. I got the clam po’boy with french fries and a cup of clam chowder. I have never had a po’boy before and thought I would try it. All 3 were good. Clams were fried well. French fries were crisp, and the clam chowder was hot and creamy. Oster crackers were served with it, which I like better then regular crackers. The other order was a seafood samplers with clams, haddock, shrimp, and scallops served with french fries also. The Haddock was amazing. My favorite out of the sampler. Clams were good.
Scallops and shrimp were kinda small.
As for environment its a nice view with good seating. The waiter was great. Very intentive. Very quick.

This was a great experience for us! Our bar tender was so nice and chatted with us, sharing information about life in Boothbay! Food was fantastic! We had steamed lobster, corn, clam chowder and fries! ♥️ sad that they close for the season tomorrow! But hope to come back next year!
