Golden King was an excellent, authentic experience of Cantonese cuisine. I would highly recommend this for anyone willing to do a family-style dining experience. When you go make sure you check out the specials of the day.

We didn’t find this place impressive the first time we were here. However, we tried some Hongkong-style dishes this time and had a much better experience. I’d say it’s one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants around Sterling.

The food here is amazing if you know your Cantonese Food. Ordered the crispy beef in spicy sweet sauce, snow pea leaves with garlic, triple delight, young Joao Fried rice and shu mai and we were super full. The portions are huge and everything was cooked to order. We can’t wait to come back and try them during actual dim sum time as they had plenty of carts waiting in the back. Very good food and nice family atmosphere.

This is the best Chinese food we have found in a long time! I waited until we ordered a second time to write this review. Each time the food has been perfectly delicious and very fresh. The egg rolls are amazing! The prices are reasonable and the owners/employees are kind and friendly. We will continue to order and eventually eat inside, the restaurant is huge and perfect during Covid for social distancing.

I really enjoyed this place. Typically at these Chinese restaurant the service is abrupt if not friendly. However, the servers were delightful here, as well as the gentleman that greeted us–he actually greeted us with a smile. Then, when I saw that Sesame Chicken was not on the lunch menu, I asked if they had it even, and they immediately said that they would make it for me as a lunch meal. Now that is service! The Sesame Chicken had nice fat chunks of chicken. The only complaint was that I would have wanted more sauce because it was good. The chicken was quality and not stringy or mushy. It was also served with a nice amount of broccoli and rice. My BF got the shrimp and broccoli, and the sauce was really good on that, a nice, flavorful brown sauce. The shrimp were plump and quality, and the broccoli was nice and green and fresh. Lunch was only $16 and we ended up taking a doggy bag for later. I will definitely be back.

Absolutely the best place in Sterling for Chinese food take-out. I’ve been a customer of this Cantonese-style restaurant for over 25 years and they’ve never let me down! Their Kung Pao Delight, Mushu Pork, Shrimp Egg Foo Young and General Tao Chicken are to die for. Portions are huge – you will always have enough left-over for an additional meal. I’ve only dined-in a few times but the table service has always been excellent, very friendly and courteous. Not the best looking sit-down area, but the restaurant is large with plenty of space to social distance during these COVID times. Expect a minimum of 15 minute wait-time for take-out, despite their overly ambitious promise of 10 minutes.

The food is pretty close to authentic Chinese food. The dim sum are great most days. We only had one day where it was a miss. But my kiddos love the food. You must order their specialty fried tofu!!! It’s really good here.

Hands down worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Place was completely empty when I got there at 730pm and now I know why. I got braised duck, the skin was soggy and the meat chewy. It also had a bad taste. I didn’t even come close to finishing it Bc it was so bad. My friends seafood platter looked terrible and was covered in hot chili seeds. The batter was under cooked and everything was also chewy. The server had nothing better to do then stand in the distance and stare at us. Never will re visit.

They took 40 minutes to make my takeout order, and it was pretty gross. Fried crispy beef was some Kind of batter dipped soggy meet strip That would be pretty gross even for a cheap buffet instead it cost $20 and went straight into the trash.. dumplings Actually had water coming out of them and are completely flavorless.
