I ordered a “Commuter” (Crisp applewood smoked bacon, scrambled egg and fresh tomato) breakfast sandwich & asked if they could add some spinach – it wasn’t a problem & the sandwich was delicious!! I’ve tried the “Daybreak” chorizo breakfast burrito that was excellent. The folks working were friendly and service was good. Food is cooked to order, so it takes a little more time than some may care for. There are ready to go items available if you are short on time. Yes, this is located on Patuxent River Naval Air Station in the Navy Exchange.

I arrived yesterday at the coffee shop at 0713 and the posted sign said they should open at 0700. There was no one behind the counter and all the refrigerator items were still locked up. It was obvious they had not opened yet.
It appears to me that they should change their hours to accurately reflect when an employee is going to show up, or hire someone that can be there on time as advertised. I am disappointed that the NEX hasn’t taken corrective action because it looks like this is a recurring trend based on previous reviews.

Their sign says that they open at 0700, but I was there from 0645 to 0705 and never saw anyone.
