My girlfriend wanted to try it out so we decided to check it out she ordered the birria tacos I ordered 3 tacos. The birria tacos are amazing and I ordered carnitas tacos, a al pastor and a chicharon taco. Let me tell you they were amazing too the flavor and taste was amazing! The red salsa they provided was the cherry on top great heat and flavor. The also have other dishes will definitely return to try the other dishes.

Ordered the birria tacos, loaded fries, and an Alex’s burrito. All meats are seasoned and weren’t bland.
Negative:
The inside eating sections are a little small and awkward.

I can’t believe a hot bar full of delicious things in front of me. Ordered ahead online, it was ready when we arrived, and we dug in. The quesabirria tacos were insane. Saved the consommé for later. Got a two meat burrito, the chicarrones are a must. Can’t believe how crispy and flavorful they were. Wish I could go back. A little off the beaten path but well worth the drive.

The most delicious vegan Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life!!!! I ordered the vegan burrito it’s bursting with flavor and huge in size. In short, a dream of a dish.

We ordered a good mix of birria dorados with extra cheese and consome, asada tacos and the al pastor burrito. Insane, I have never had birria before (not even before I went vegan) and this is unbelievable. Everything was so good! The staff was very patient while taking our order and was helpful. We hope to come back soon, we need El Cocinero in Europe urgently.

This really is the best vegan Mexican food I’ve had, I’ve been all over the US and have yet to find any vegan Mexican food to even come close to their flavor. Whenever I have a none vegan friend who’s never tried vegan food, this is where I take them and they are always impressed and don’t believe me it’s vegan haha
They have a small but nice dinning area and plenty of parking.
The staff is always friendly and the food comes out quick and fresh… highly recommend coming here!

Last week we had an issue where Uber Eats didn’t honor a refund after we had to cancel our order, but this is where El Cocinero truly stood out. The owner, Alex, was incredibly kind and still made the food for us anyway. That level of customer service is rare and speaks volumes about the heart behind this place.
This isn’t our first great experience here, and it definitely won’t be our last. El Cocinero has without a doubt gained two long-term customers—my wife and I have officially made this one of our go-to spots. If you’re looking for flavorful vegan food and genuinely good people, do yourself a favor and check this place out.

I haven’t been here in years and it was as amazing as I remembered! Staff is so kind, store is bright and clean. The food is out of this WORLD. My sister is vegan and was craving an authentic burrito and I knew I had to take her here. The burritos are huge and delicious! I will recommend to all my friends and family!
