Fantastic buffet! Something for everybody. Been here a few times so far and every time I’ve been impressed. There are a lot of delicious options. I was just here today and their lasagna was some of the best lasagna I’d ever had!
It includes soda, coffee and iced tea.
Great views looking out at the forest too. Sometimes you’ll see hawks, hummingbirds or whatever.

The views are top tier. The food was good. The service was alright. They were busy on Valentine’s Day and clearly didn’t have enough help. People waited to be seated and multiple groups walked away before being acknowledged. Our water wasn’t refilled in the hour and a half we were there. Tables sat 30+ minutes after the guests were gone waiting to be cleared. Avoid the R-Rated Rootbeer unless you want to be stumbling on your way out

We had our family Christmas at the Mahoney Cabins. We decided to eat at the restaurant. Very clean atmosphere, the lodge is stunning! We were a big group of 17 and we all fit comfortably. It was great to relax and talk. I even beat my dad at checkers! We had one little glitch during our time here. However, I can assure you that customer service is a top priority and it was resolved quickly. Thank you for making our Christmas memorable. I would recommend and we will be back! Thank you.

The cabins were excellent. However, we ate at Carl’s while we were there. The waitress seated us and said we could go to the buffet. She got the drinks from the bar and that was the last we saw of her. We sat out empty plates on chairs because there was no room on the tables. The water pitchers were empty and she didn’t refill them until we were getting ready to leave. The place was not busy (there was another table of eight people). To top it all off she added a 21% gratuity on each drink ticket and to the meal ticket. For the service we received that is RIDICULOUS!! We saw where the gratuity would be added on parties of 20 or more and our party had 16 so should not have been added to any of the tickets.
Watch your receipts carefully so they don’t automatically add the gratuity.

We loved our dinner at Carl’s! The food, drinks and service were all amazing! The staff was friendly. They were quite busy on a Saturday night but we were acknowledged by the staff and were seated as sion as they were able! The salad bar was well stocked and fresh.
Both my husband and my steaks were cooked to perfection and my husband was so happy with a medium steak done to his liking! He says not many people can make a good medium steak! The food was so good I forgot to take pictures! He also tried a Mojito for the first time and loved it. My Bloody Mary was amazing as well!
There was not a Google listing at the time so I showed the staff so it it so good to see that they now have a Google listing and I hope it brings them much more business! I would give more stars if I could!

We ate at Carl’s on a Friday evening early in June prior to seeing the wonderful melodrama in the park. There were very few people dining so we easily got a table and had also called ahead for reservations which they do accept. Our food and service was outstanding! I highly recommend the butterfly shrimp! Our meal also included a small salad bar with some nice options. My sister did comment that they were missing a vinegar and oil salad dressing. I’m so glad they have a restaurant open again at this amazing park since there aren’t too many other restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend Carl’s for delicious casual family dining in a wonderful atmosphere!

We were excited to make Easter reservations at Carls to make are family brunch easier for everyone. Needless to say, while it was great being with family, the entire experience was unacceptable. The presentation of the food and the quality provided was beyond disappointing. When we went through the buffet line, majority of the items were out, the meats (turkey, ham, pork) were floating in broth, the desserts were disappointing and so much more. On a positive note, the park was beautiful. I truly believe the management team was trying their best to make it a positive experience, but will need to regroup for future occasions to enhance the customers experience. .

Loved everything about this place. Atmosphere is quiet in the evenings and rustic as it over looks the river. The staff is friendly and the food is fantastic. Great salad bar, tenderly cooked steak bites and their loaded tots/tachos/nachos are incredible. Kid friendly and also has a lounge bar area if you just want to have a couple drinks. Highly recommend.

Raechelle was excellent, but the Food was disgusting, dry and cold. Sent it back 2x, and it was still cold. I’ll gladly NEVER go back. The salad bar was also unsettling, shameful and gross. Eeewwww!!!

Great comfortable cabin atmosphere. Welcoming staff. Great food and nice cold beer after a long day at the park. My family had a great time and excited to go back with my out of town family.
