I just moved to soldotna and was happy to find this new Ramen place just down the street in the middle of town. Me and my family all loved the cozy feel of the place. The service was great and the food was quickly prepared. The food was very delicious and one of the top tasting Ramen places I’ve been to. Definitely recommend.

tonkotsu and shoyu were both sooo good!!! the portions were on point and there were no leftovers to take home. the price is incredibly fair for the quality of the food. they have a lounge room in the back with books and a fireplace! and the staff are very friendly and informative. i love this place!!

J.P. Ramen is a nice new gem to have in Soldotna. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed their food and talking with the owner Craig.
The tonkatsu ramen was very nice with rich broth and good noodles. I enjoyed the fatty flavor of the meat and the texture that the scallions and mushrooms added. It was very good.
The miso ramen was very good as well with more of a chicken flavor to the broth. The bok choy was soft but still crunchy enough and tasted wonderful in the ramen.
I really hope more comes to the menu in the future if they plan to add more- or even more specials. I would love to see more noodle types too like udon or rice noodles etc. I would love to see maybe katsudon or omurice as a special someday- I know J.P. Ramen would do them well.

The tonkatsu ramen was amazing. The bone broth was very rich and flavorful, you can tell it was done the right way. The chashu was excellent as well. 5 stars, super highly recommended.

I’ve been to Japan and this stuff is great! Ramen is IN the bagel shop (bit easy to miss), so just walk in and ask. The staff is really friendly and the service is quick. A+

Best ramen I’ve had in Alaska! I got the tonkotsu, the broth and pork were incredible, the egg yoke was perfectly cooked, and the noodles were so smooth.
