Russell helped me when my order didn’t go through online. I was able to order a minimum of $40 and get an extra lo mein on the side there are other options that you can choose to receive free items. I was able to order my food and go grab some more items at another store and return my food was ready.
They’re located right next to McDonald’s on 933 across the road from drive & shine. The food is fantastic and they were super nice and quick. Russell even gave me a free soda ! Thanks we’ll be coming back soon.

This is my go to suishi. Always fresh and packed with flavor. They have really good food. Also you get a good bang for your buck. We got 2 meals out of our food and still have a some sushi to finish off. All this for $30 plus tax. You cant get fast food for 2 that cheap. They have daily specials which I have tried several times and they do not disappoint. You can get 3 rolls or hand rolls for $13. They have a variety of types of noodles. The Mei fun rice noodles are light and delicious.
The staff is friendly. I love the new revamped nostalgic atmosphere. We all grew up in this old ponderosa location. Great place to make new memories. Go here you won’t be disappointed. Dine in or take out either way it’s worth it.

Edit: Ok. The fried rice was quite good, not greasy as some fried rice can be. We did it with egg and our toddler loved it. Now, the Black Bean Chicken was….special. It hit all the right umami, spicy and a hint of sweet from the veggies. Outstanding dish. All of the standard sushi options are available, I was pleased to see a lot of yellowtail on the menu, but unfortunately they didn’t have any available tonight. I had 2 rolls that had eel, my favorite, and it was freshly cooked, soft, and well presented. The lobster salad in the other roll we had was super good, and with the crunch that roll had, it was a delightful roll. All three sushi rolls had super fresh sushi rice, it was still a bit warm, fluffy, but well packed. This is definitely a step above the other places in town that have sushi, if only due to their rice being so well prepared. OH! And the service was SUPER fast. Very little waiting for food to arrive, which we appreciated since we had our two young boys with us. Very clean place, and our host even cleaned the high chair before he brought it to the table. We will absolutely make this our regular spot for sushi and other common Asian dishes.

Had the sushi fresh, quality was good.. large amount for bill which wasn’t more the $45.00 for 2 people. Plus also got egg drop soup which was larger then most oriental places, chicken broccoli was fresh and cooked to perfection. Will be back .

Visiting South Bend for the football game. Parents wanted to take me to the new restaurant. We ordered four entrees and a couple of apps. My favorites were the unagi sushi roll and the Singapore mei fun noodles. All was super tasty.
Our server was very attentive. Food came out quickly.

This new sushi spot is an absolute gem! The quality of the fish is incredibly fresh, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. I tried their signature rolls and was blown away by the creativity and presentation. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is cozy yet modern. It’s clear they put a lot of thought into every detail. Whether you’re a sushi connoisseur or just looking for a great meal, this place won’t disappoint. Can’t wait to come back!

Plentiful portions, all food was cooked correctly. I enjoyed the crab Rangoon. Had Beef Lomein and the Sushi Rolls. Prices are decent. There is a 2 and 3 Sushi roll option that were quite nice. The menu is fairly large. Standard Chinese type faire with Sushi served also. Service was great and we had a nice time.

Delicious food we were just driving through and saw the place saying best sushi in michiana and oh yes ma’am it’s good my fiance is happy and so am I thank you for the delicious food and service only complaint is my crunchy noodle for my soup were a bit old and my egg drop soup still has some uncooked egg white.
