This place is well worth the stop if you’re traveling through Bamberg! We went to the Monarch Ranch Conservatory and stopped here on our way home. The fried shrimp, fries, hush puppies, and blackened snapper were all excellent!!

The owner is really nice & sweet. The fish was seasoned just right, crispy & the alligator was the best part! The red dip is delicious too, especially w/ the alligator! I wish they were closer to Columbia. I love all the seashells & stuff inside the decor is so cute!

You must stop here to eat if traveling through this town. So glad we did. I had a delicious and tender Ribeye cooked perfectly and my friend had crab legs with a large portion and cooked just right that the meat pulled clean out of the shells for easy eating. Service super friendly and I think a great value for the high quality of food.

They have to have the best sauce that I have ever had in my life. I had the fried shrimp and a friend of mine recommended the BBQ sauce. It wasn’t really BBQ sauce but it was very good. Im tempted to call them and ask if I can buy some and have them send it to me.

So I was looking for Catfish, and Googled Catfish near me, and Cliff’s popped up so I called, got location n went by, and am glad I did. Customer Service was on point, and very helpful. This my new go to stop, my food was delicious. I ordered Catfish n fries, very good. The potato salad was delicious but I think portion should be larger, for Price. Now let me talk about the baby back ribs!!!!! They were well seasoned, juicy, and meaty, didn’t even need sauce, but the sauce set them off!!! Overall I give them 5⭐️.

I cannot say enough good things about Cliff’s! Service is ALWAYS on point and friendly , atmosphere is simple and very clean with GREAT music playing softly in background, AND THE FOOD ( Oh my GAWD ! ) IS DELICOUS !
Recommend the fried whiting and shrimp or grilled shrimp and scallops with garlic butter. The fried food is never too salty or overly greasy, its crispy and light ! And the grilled shrimp and scallops are nicely seasoned and YUMMY.

This afternoon I met Captain Cliff and his wife at Cliff’s seafood in Bamberg. Cliffs is one of those restaurants that you find sometimes in a small town, whose quality of food and service is much higher than you would expect in a small town. I just happen to find it by accident and I’m very glad that I did. I tried to get a little bit of as many things as I could on my first visit. I had butterflied fried shrimp, scallops, clam, and hush puppies, with a side, order of sausage and an ear of corn. Each of the servings was a good size so I had plenty to take home for leftovers. The scallops and the hush puppies were both way above average, the shrimp breading was very tasty, and everything was cooked just right. The corn is served in seasoned butter, which is very very tasty. I highly recommend everything that I had. Captain Cliff and his wife both had time to come out and speak with me, that was very nice. I came in the middle of the afternoon, so I guess they had a little time to visit. very nice! I look forward to going back and trying the crabcakes and the ribs. Their menu was very extensive, they had things there that you would not find at every seafood restaurant. Do yourself a favor and stop in there the next chance you get.! bon appétit!
