These pizzas are a work of art – in both looks and flavor. The people who work at Firenza are outstanding and have wonderful personalities to match. Yes, they “do knead the dough” – by hand. This place is set up beautifully and is also extremely handicap-friendly with parking immediately out front. They offer outdoor seating as well. The restrooms are meticulous and roomy. The flavor of these pizzas is the best we’ve ever had – better than any Italian pizzeria up North. For a 10-inch pizza @ $8.99 we got our custom-made favorite (ingredients below) – the piece de resistance is the balsamic drizzle – don’t forget the balsamic drizzle. You GOTTA TRY their “Chicken & waffle Pizza”. To be honest, it was a super odd combination, but it just worked. The chkn was chopped up (not quite pulled) buffalo chicken. Two types of cheese with actual pieces of toasted waffle as a topping. Then once it comes out of the oven, it’s topped with a thin, but sticky, honey maple drizzle.. While I was taking my order to go, it smelled like I had an order of pancakes and syrup in the box.. Plus these guys also serve a few diffent brews on tap AND at least one type of wine. DEFINITELY be seeking this place out next time I’m close enough to stop

This is by far the best artisan craft pizza restaurant in Louisville. The other establishment that is similar has nothing on them. The dough is of better quality, this giving the pizza a much improvement. The toppings are too plentiful, sometimes having a huge assortment can be overwhelming, so I just get them all, that is all the veggies. Also, what is the best compliment to pizza, a nice cold draft beer. They run a brew of the month, and it is always good. When the family wants Pizza at home now, we do not order from one of the delivery establishments , we pile into the car and drive. This way everybody can have what they want exactly.
