Me and my father have been coming here since I was about 8 years old. I’m 32 now. We used to live across the street when I was that young & id walk over there most days with a few bucks my dad would give me. I live in McKinney now & I still drive over to enjoy this spot. Me & my dad have always bragged about this place. I cannot comment on all of his food – I’ve gotten the same things everytime all these years. The breakfast chorizo tacos & for lunch the bean and cheese sour cream burrito. My dad gets the BFB. We also always load up on the Salsa. I’m not sure what he puts in his salsa but it’s hands down the best salsa I’ve tried in my life. Even if you don’t prefer it you cannot say there is another salsa like this around. I’ve been trying to figure out his recipe at home haha maybe one day he will pass it along. Everytime we go in he always remembers us. Always ask about our family. He may not remember our names but he never forgets a face! Thanks for always serving us well brother! And most of all thank you for your food! I will always come here.

Loveeee this place, very nostalgic coming here because as a kid, the parents would take me here. It’s always very good and the best breakfast tacos in the area. The owner is one of the nicest and most genuine people I know. Definitely a hidden gem (ask for the habanero salsa).

Great food! The vegetables are organic. There’s no animal fats in the beans. Very healthy. Mexican seasoning is flavorful and refreshing. I’m also grateful that they have hamburgers on their menu for our little one who hasn’t acquired a flavor for Mexican yet. Love this place! Look forward to coming back. And just for fun. I really enjoyed their sports bobbleheads.

Grabbed tacos for our company event. Micheal made them all fresh. 40 tacos! The best brewed coffee I have ever had! The hot sauce is delicious also! Cant wait to get back in there and try all the other options.

It was my first time there at DJs tacos & I loved it. the service was amazing. The owner was Super kind. I ordered a Burger with some French fries & the combo was amazing 10out10 next to that jumbo coca-Cola, I got me . Definitely will me here more. come check it out ☺️

I had a really disappointing experience at this place. The person taking my order wasn’t friendly at all—he just stood there silently, waiting for me to speak. At one point, he went to the back to ask someone to heat up the tortilla. That’s when I saw the guy in the back come out with the tortilla without wearing any protective gloves and proceed to make my burrito right in front of me. To make matters worse, the meat in my burrito had been sitting under a heat light and was incredibly dry. Between the unfriendly service and the obvious lack of basic food hygiene, this was completely unacceptable. I will definitely not be coming back.

I have been eating here since 1996 when I went to work nearby. It is like walking into Cheers. Michael greets all his customers with, “Hello friend, great to see you.” For most, he calls them by name.
I have used him for company parties in addition to picking up a quick lunch. His hot sauce is the best. His burgers are a great alternative if Mexican is not what you want.
Stop by and grab a BFB (big freaking burrito). Michael was making monster burritos a long time before the chain restaurants were.
They are open for breakfast and lunch. I believe they are the oldest restaurant in Addison. Arthur’s goes back longer, but they started in Dallas.

I came here for breakfast tacos and they didn’t disappoint! The chorizo, sausage, and bacon tacos are good! Hot and fresh and they’re not just sitting under a warmer, he made them after I ordered. They have great service and big smiles at 8 am. I’ll definitely be returning to try their other options.
