The whole atmosphere was nice. The food was delicious. Overall, a great experience. I can definitely recommend this place.
What I will say is that parking sucks. I went on a Saturday morning and because there’s other businesses around, the parking lot gets full right away.

Southern Roots Blooms Bubbly & Brunch is an absolute gem and a true breath of fresh air for the Valley. From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by elegant, antique-inspired decor with a soft, dainty, almost ethereal feel. The attention to detail is stunning—lush florals, soft lighting, and a cohesive aesthetic that extends all the way to the restrooms (the wallpaper alone deserves a shoutout). Everything ties together so thoughtfully, especially with the flower shop integrated into the space—it’s beautiful, unique, and unforgettable.
The experience matched the atmosphere perfectly. The hostesses were welcoming and kind, and our waiter was attentive, professional, and made us feel well taken care of. I ordered the pancakes with pork belly bacon and was not disappointed—the raspberry compote was absolutely delicious and something I will 100% order again. The cinnamon coffee was amazing, and even the black tea was well done.
As if that weren’t enough, there’s also a boutique where you can shop for a variety of lovely items, which makes the whole visit feel special and leisurely. There truly aren’t many places like this in the Valley—Southern Roots is a definite upgrade and a must-visit for brunch lovers, flower lovers, and anyone who appreciates beautiful spaces and great service. Definitely, five stars ✨!

Absolutely love the vibes in this place it’s so beautiful and they are so nice. The food was amazing I had the pancake with the pork belly I was very skeptical about the dish but it worked so well together, I also had the strawberry matcha it was delicious highly recommend! I also got a bouquet of flowers you pick them out and they assemble it for you! 10/10 most go checkout

Love the food, the coffee, the people and the ambiance. Beautiful place in the RGV. And they also have a fresh flower market to get individual flowers. Plus a boutique with unique soaps, candles, Junk Gypsy products and more!

The place has a lovely atmosphere; flower and shabby chic style lovers will adore it. The food is very gourmet, but the menu is limited to only a few options. They don’t offer gluten-free options, and there’s no flexibility to change anything on the menu. The portions are generous and look appealing, but the taste isn’t quite as good. It’s a bit expensive for RGV standards, but a good option if you’re looking for something different.
