All of the starts goes to the portion sizes. Except that, it was not good food. Shawarma Platter and the Wrap used minced Beef. Which completely killed the experience and it tasted so and so. Chicken was under seasoned in the Chicken Shawarma platter. White sauce and the hummus were overly sour. While the food was supposed to have a touch of sourness, this was not balanced. It was sour through and through. Would not recommend. But it did fill our bellies!

Dry It Was… and Slow to Rise from the Kitchen
Strong with flavor, the falafel wrap was not. Dry it was—like chewing sand on the Dune Sea of Tatooine. Barely any sauce, only a dense wrap of missed opportunity.
⏳ Waited long I did—far longer than a simple falafel wrap should require. One would think they were grinding chickpeas fresh with a lightsaber. For a fast-casual spot, the pace was more Jedi Council deliberation than lunch service.
Fries were crisp and satisfying, a redeeming side that didn’t require the patience of Master Yoda.
Combo for $12.95 includes wrap, fries, and a drink—but if moisture and speed are what you seek, consider another path.

My friends and I were heading back from Acadia and were starving for some halal food. We couldn’t find a lot of options as it was past 8pm. Gladly, there was Mr.Chickpea open and we went straight to the restaurant.
Upon arrival, the owner Mr. Ahmad greeted us warmly and walked us through the menu. Although we were familiar with the Mediterranean cuisine, he expressed that it’s new in this area and he had a unique touch in the menu items.
We ordered Lamb & chicken Shawarma wrap, Chicken Skillet and Lamb Chops. The portion size was generous and the taste was excellent. The chicken shawarma had a unique taste, despite having shawarmas across the middle east and in Canada – i could safely say it was the best. The lamb chops were so fresh and juicy that we wanted more. The chicken skillet tasted incredible as well.
We had a great chat with Mr. Ahmad about his journey with the venture and we were absolutely delighted to meet him and have an insightful conversation. He is a gem of a person.
I don’t know when I will be travelling to Maine again but I would definitely come here once more!

Clean space, big menu, and friendly counter service. We ordered 2 plates (big portions, but a bit dry) at a reasonable price and brought them home. We both really enjoyed our meals (grape leaves canned?). We will be back.

This is the best Mediterranean restaurant I’ve ever been to. I got the chicken shawarma and it was absolutely delicious. It was massive as well. An absolute steal for $9. I could happily survive 3 days off of this. The service was very fast and friendly too.

Ordered shawarma wrap. I’ve tried shawarma in 20 other restaurants in us and abroad . This one is not good and unusual. The overwhelming taste was coming from pickled ingredient(s) and it felt like all that was done they were put in vinegar. No taste whatsoever. First shawarma I had that was not wrapped (no paper no foil). Acidity was overwhelming and this was first shawarma I had to throw out

Best Greek food i have had since living in Tarpon Springs. Great flavors, homemade Gyro meat, cucumber sauce, huge portions, like I was impressed. 1 meal could feed 2 . This place is a true hidden gem.
