This is a GREAT gem on the island that sports a fantastic combination of sublime food, a great vibe, live superb music, and outstanding service. Todd was our server and he was extremely helpful with our menu/wine choices, was efficient, and very friendly. We opted to take advantage of the extensive European tapas menu and ordered a bunch of outstanding dishes mostly with an American & French fusion twist. Suffice to say that everything we ordered from the devilled eggs (French and Key West styles) to the French galette, to the Red Velvet Crepe. Everything was superb! Lastly, the music here is equally outstanding and the husband/wife team of Johnny & Beth (aka Electric Blue Yonder) made this evening extra special. If you want the closest experience to a real French Bistro with excellent music, then check out VIV!

Very intimate setting. Table seating is limited so you will want to make a reservation via their website. I believe they have live music most nights.
Once the music began, people started coming in to stand at the bar and listen. The music was loud, but very enjoyable.
The tapas and charcuterie board was very good. The service was fine, just a tad slow due to one server trying to keep up with everything. Highly recommend!

Great little “French Gem” in Key West.
Todd is an amazing do everything and with the Best Smile! The live music was perfect. Had the avocado and bacon deviled eggs and escargots to start. Then the French dip and a duck confit savory crepe. Their wine selection absolutely the best. We had a bottle of wine with dinner.

We always have a wonderful evening at Viv. The avocado deviled eggs and the Italian charcuterie and cheese board (The Godfather) are favorites, along with their delicious bread. We enjoyed a French red blend with dinner and a sparkling moscato with the dark chocolate fondue for dessert. Live music in the evening adds to the intimate bistro ambiance.

Fantastic wine and food! The service here was phenomenal and the Godfather charcuterie board is a must! The included bread was some of the best we have had and paired very well with their goat cheese and a touch of honey. Variety of wines are available at fair prices and pours are very generous. Do keep in mind that there was only 1 person taking orders and serving the food, so the wait can be slightly above average. Still, this wine bar was fantastic and we highly recommend visiting if you’re in Key West!
Updated on 6/22/25: Stopped by and the ambiance and wine were still as great as last time! Enjoyed the Godfather charcuterie board once again! We did notice that the portion of bread was reduced but the quality and flavor of everything was phenomenal. The Échiré spread that came with the bread was absolutely incredible. Our experience here was incredible. We arrived for happy hour, let Julie guide us through some French wines and then explored other regions pairing with charcuterie and pork belly. Julie even fired up the billig for a red velvet dessert crepe for us that was to die for!
Service and selection is stellar! Breakfast next door at La Crêperie that morning and we returned to enjoy 5hrs at VIV ending with a bottle on the porch watching sunset. Amazing day of food and wine!

A slice of France in Key West! We stumbled on this while walking around and took a chance. The wine (and beer) selection is fantatsic and such good appetizers to go with it. The owner is from France and the quality of the wine and food reflects that. We had the cheese board and it was AMAZINGLY good. Wine paired perfectly. The ambiance is cozy and intimate inside. And pet-friendly too.
