You don’t come here for the atmosphere, come for the FOOD! And you can’t wait to come back again. Not to be missed if you are anywhere close to this area. Chile verde burrito is fantastic, BIG, and at 12$ out the door, crazy good value! Get extra red salsa to add some heat. It does take some time, about 20+ minutes for lunch take out, because there is always a line and they make homemade tortillas fresh and delicious for every order. If this place was within a 2 hour drive of my house, I’d make the trip once a week, order 3 of everything on the menu, and fill up a cooler to take home.

Very friendly service. The ladies make the tortillas on the spot. Their food is very good. I call to order, so i dont wait in line. order their papas and chorizo tacos. The nopales tacos are so good! As well as the carne con chile. Best taco place in brawley. I usually order 3 tacos and that makes for a great meal!

They’re tortillas and burritos are pretty good, but I Think they change their prices depending on the customer. One time or first time we went in we ordered two burritos and was charged $17 the second time a week later I was charged $12 for the same thing. The meats should be fresh daily, you can taste the old meat.

A hidden gem! All food here is delicious with freshly made tortillas. For 3 dollars, the portions of the tacos are ridiculously hooked up. Don’t sleep on this restaurant. It’s a must try!

The staff is very hard working at getting the orders out in a timely manner, always great to be able to order by phone to save on wait time (usually 15-20mins) The flour tortillas are made on the spot and always have a great selection. Been going for almost a year now. Price always includes tax and is a cash only location. Very polite people and delicious food is always a great combination.

I had heard of this restaurant for about a year or so, but had not been able to go to it since they tend to close around Noon, given that they cater mostly to the field workers who get up very early in the morning. So today, finally, instead of going to Las Chabelas Mexican Restaurant for our breakfast burrito, since we were in town early, we decided to give Patty’s a try. I was sorely disappointed, both at the service and at the taste of the burrito that we were given. Firstly, the man who worked at the counter (this was at 11:00am at 10/31/2022) was curt to us as soon as we came in. He answered questions about what they had available in a snippy and impatient way. When we ordered two breakfast burritos, he said they came to $18.00. We gave him a $100.00 bill, and he gave us back $80.00, I suppose keeping $2.00 for himself or for the restaurant. He also never gave us our receipt for the order.
I had also expected that since it was kind of a walk-up/walk-in restaurant, the orders would be made quickly. But we waited for twenty-one minutes for our two burritos and two sodas. When I asked him for additional napkins, he looked bothered by me having asked him. And the quality of the burritos was not good. They were overstuffed with potatoes, and very short on egg, cheese, and bacon that we had ordered. These other four ingredients were so sparse that we felt as if we were eating a potato burrito and nothing else. I can’t reasonably know why they do this, but it’s possible that it saves them money to just stuff the burritos with a much higher percentage of potatoes that anything else. Therefore, the burritos that we ordered and paid for today were very bland and unappealing
Well, I will not be coming back to Patty’s. We should have gone to Las Chabelas for our breakfast, and next time we’re in town, we will. This was a disappointment in many ways. The first place this restaurant should start is to retrain and re-educate their front workers with what customer service is. And concurrently, they should re-think the quality of product that they are giving their paying customers.
