Headed right over man we got 2 Jerk Tacos lunch specials and a DNA Tropical Passion drink, it was one of the best meals from a restaurant my wife and I have had in a long time! The chicken was tender and perfectly spicy and that mango salsa was beyond amazing and you can tell they go the extra steps with their tortillas! He was also very accommodating in editing one of the plates as needed, which is amazing especially for a food truck.
Definitely coming back soon to try more good food cooked with love!
Not only was Chef DNA so nice but he took the time to explain what went into the food (toppings wise). I had the jerk chicken tacos and it was absolutely delicious, the mango salsa is the perfect pairing and the jerk was the perfect amount of heat! We will one hundred percent be back again and again.
They have an assortment of different tacos, to start, and so far we’ve had the Jerked Chicken and Jerked shrimp tacos (we’ll try the pork tomorrow) and let me tell you…mind blowing flavor! Between the perfectly seasoned chicken and shrimp, the incredible mango salsa and a balance of Chef and Mrs DNA’s sauces (oh yeah they make their own sauce and you will have to decide which is your favorite) tucked between perfectly grilled flour tacos will leave you begging for more!
We also had the crab cake salad, crab veggie roll and their flavor filled rice and beans all washed down with a Passion Mango drink (I honestly can’t remember what it’s called but it’s so refreshing) every dish was delicious.
If you’re in Melbourne area and you haven’t stopped by and given them your business you’re doing your taste buds a disservice…seriously y’all should catch a case for not eating here.
The jerk chicken and shrimp tacos, shrimp and fries, crab cakes, rice and more… were all so amazing!
Chef DNA and Mrs. DNA have combined so perfectly sweet and savory flavors with just the right amount of heat when needed and the perfect combination of textures.
Even the French fries are incredible. You know how a place that specializes in flavorful food will often add chicken fingers and fries to the menu for kids or people with broken taste buds? Well this is not that! The shrimp and fries were so perfectly crispy and flavorful – the shrimp especially was so juicy.
The service is exceptional, the food quality and the prices fair. While initially it may feel like more than you expect to pay at a food truck, the portions and overall experience make it completely justified.
Finally, my favorite part – you will walk away stuffed and yet feeling good. The food does not sit heavy in your stomach or make you feel sick. And as someone whose not afraid to eat, I appreciate a place that won’t leave me regretting it after the fact.

Finally, I got to try the Crab Cakes! I’ll start by saying that taste/ flavor was on point! However, they were a little different. The Crab meat was very shredded and actually dry like (not sure if that meant the Crab wasn’t the freshest), meaning there were no lump pieces and again as weird as it may sound, the meat was dry like, and was not lump Crab meat at all. I’ll also say it wasn’t mainly bread filling like some crab cakes can be. So, in closing, I’ll say that I’d probably do them again in a pinch, but if I found a more lump crab meat, crab cake, I’d rather have the lump Crab meat.
I’ll never buy from this place again, and I’ll never recommend anyone.
