The cake was outdated and made me sick to my stomach. I didn’t notice until I was half way through & noticed the taste was off so I stopped eating. The next day it tore my stomach up. The rice and peas were burned. I went to complain and they beat me mad. The worker there told me for every one customer they lose, they gain 100. They have plenty of bad reviews from old food and complaints of customer service. If you don’t want to throw your money down the drain, don’t spend your money here, because if you’re not satisfied you will not be refunded.

Been coming here for months and they are consistently out of jerk chicken and other popular items especially at night, but sometimes during the day too. For a restaurant that’s open 24 hours, it doesn’t make sense to keep running out. If you know you sell out fast during the day, extra food should be stocked to last through late night hours.
On top of that, the late-night customer service isn’t great. I came here around 2:30am after coming prior 4 times this week and then being sold out, when I asked a simple question about availability through the drive thru just to confirm, the response was rude and dismissive from the lady, honestly don’t plan on coming back to this location after that. Her response had slickness in it, made me feel like a little boy the way she said it. Also one time coming here when I did get jerk chicken the chicken was cooked all the way, parts of it was still pink and skin was falling off when picking it up I couldn’t even eat it because of the risks of getting sick, a lot of times the jerk chicken don’t be hot like it supposed to and just taste regular, other times it’s spicy like it’s supposed to but the chsnce of that is bout 50/50. Multiple other times when the food was available during the daytime, they messed up my order plenty of times and gave me the wrong choice of rice, this has happened to me over 10 times and I’m not even exaggerating.
Jerk chicken is the main reason many people come here not just locals in the area but even people who live 30 minutes away all the way in Miami Dade come here too, so constantly not having it and poor service is disappointing. And last but least again, the customer service whether day or nighttime needs to be worked on. There is one older lady who does the drive thru during the daytime she’s very nice and get on the other workers when my order turns out wrong and she makes sure it’s hot and fresh. But as for the other workers, it’s like common gestures don’t exist, they act like they don’t know how to talk and say “you’re welcome” or a simple courtesy like anything. Some of them just look like they got attitudes and don’t know how to open their mouth, but after tonight this was my last straw dealing with this place and giving them the benefit of the doubt. I honestly don’t recommend this place to anyone. Very disappointed.

40 minutes in the drive-through is crazy, I have a drive-through if it’s not speedy. Service was horrible. I would’ve drove off if I didn’t pay first, so I had to sit there and wait. this place has nothing on the one in North Miami that’s open 24 hours. The ladies in the front look like they don’t wanna be there . Honestly if you’re gonna spend $20 on anything you should at least get good service. With everything being so expensive now running a business like this you’re gonna go down the toilet really fast. I’m very fair and honest and I could look over a bunch of things wrong. But when the service is slow and terrible and expensive throw the whole restaurant away. I honestly regretted going there and spending my hard earned money. Honestly like the other review say Donna’s Golden crust and Dutch pot are all way better options honestly. A truly utter honest disappointment where I even feel like disputing that charge on my card. to those who have actually had good experience at this place I envy you guys because I love Jamaican food I love Caribbean food , no I could’ve looked past that if the food was actually good but the oxtails were all bones and fat no meat the rice was cold and a little stale horrible experience -5 out 10

The best Jerk Sauce in town …. take a bottle home and a small carry bottle with you to any eating establishments. I eat in restaurants 7 days a week i could never fine non mass produced jerk sauce. Here is gold level ,you are first hit with sweet n than the heat follows thru. Its not the sauce used from kitchen, you must buy the premiere sauce. Its my travel partner for breakfast lunch n dinner

Oh my God — I’ve lived in Fort Lauderdale for 18 years, and this is the first time I’ve had Jamaican food that truly tastes like back home! I honestly can’t stop talking about it.
I ordered from Jamaica House last night and was blown away by the flavor — so much so that I came right back again today for more. Whoever is in that kitchen, please keep them as the chef — they’re doing it right!
The customer service was also top notch. Friendly, welcoming, and you can tell they care about the quality of the food and the people they serve.
I’m just so happy I found this spot — nobody can convince me to eat anywhere else now. If you’re looking for real, authentic Jamaican food in Fort Lauderdale, Jamaica House is the place. Highly recommend!
I am also a business owner at Sean Kavanagh Grooming in Fort Lauderdale and I will highly recommend all my clients too come support.

I’ve seen some negative reviews here, I can only go on my experience. My wife and I have been here three times in the last four days. Food is amazing. The curry goat, oxtails, brown stew chicken, so good. We’re gonna try all that they have. Food is delicious!!!! And the prices are better than the other main Jamaican establishments in the area.

They need to talk to the girl at the counter. If she’s tired of serving customers, she should try cleaning toilets, they don’t question anything….
Food was very well cooked. I enjoyed my lunch, maybe I’ll come back, but not at the top of my todo list.
Maybe your experience will be better.

These people are so rude especially when you order after hours. I was so excited this location was coming to broward being that i was a long term customer at the Miami location but every time I come to this location it’s always something. I called to check if they have oxtails because everytime my husband go there after work they tell him no so i figured I’ll call first to my surprise the employee told me the order is only for DoorDash orders only. This was the icing on the cake. My husband work down the street why would i order DoorDash when I can pick up my own food. Was put on hold for almost 20 mins and they never came back to the phone i complained several times but they always offer to correct the order but after tonight im
Never returning to this location

Us Jamaicans can’t expect to spices and peppers for real food from the land. Sensitive folks can’t handle the heat but love the flavors. So far this place cook their food with nice flavors and not to mention tenderness. Perfer more heat but I understand. Still nice flavors so far.

Today I ordered my food. I didn’t order extra gravy on my food but when I saw it, I decided I want extra gravy. I’m here with the owner of the place and we get into a verbal dispute because she’s telling me that if I wanted extra gravy, I should’ve ordered it in the beginning and if I order it now the cup that they put the extra gravy in cost money the extra cost was not affect to me just give me what I asked for and charge me don’t debate how I completed my order if it needed more money charge more money ……never make the customer feel like they’re bullshit because they needed something extra!!!! It’s always us against us.
