I travel frequently and I never look forward to airport food unless it’s Red’s. The fish is fresh and fried to order. The prices are reasonable by any standard. The chefs that work their care about the food

This doesn’t even deserve a zero. Went to get food while waiting for a flight with a layover of 2 hrs. My daughter tried to grab a water bottle and the enclosed glass that had handles as if you slide to open the display. The glass that already had numerous cracks on all corners, as you can see in the pictures, fell on her left foot. The employee behind the counter took 3 minutes before coming around to help my daughter as I tried to take the glass door off her foot. The manager walks by cursing because she had to write an incident report. She didn’t ask if my daughter was okay or even acknowledged anything. While my daughter started crying in tremendous pain. Finally, the same employee who tried to help asked if she wanted ice. Which we denied. Placed an order for a salmon burger and water bottle.. After the ordeal to have proof since the manager didn’t even attempt to acknowledge anything while still standing in front of us talking in spanish, clearly through her body language, she was talking and cursing. I then went and asked the cashier if they had any tylenol, and she said she would ask the manager. Another missed opportunity to talk to us and ask if my daughter is okay. Cashier comes back and says they have no tylenol…the manager was literally less than 3 feet from us. I finally just went up to her and asked her if she was the manager without being rude or angry…I was met with aggression and disrespect..she yelled at me…and I asked her why are there cracks and all she kept saying was you don’t lift it..well if it has handles anyone could get confused after 20 hr flight between 3 airports….nonetheless, I wasn’t trying to even complain I was more worried /concerned the glass door would fall on Someone else. I was Utterly disgusted and disrespected on top of injury my daughter got at their establishment. I will be calling corporate….she is lucky I didn’t cause a scene or curse her out. She wouldn’t give me her name… Dominican woman who was manager on April 24, 2025, around 830ish pm.
Bonus I ordered a salmon burger and they gave us a fish sandwich.

I visited Red Best and tried their fish sandwich, as it caught my attention for its freshness. While the fish was well-cooked and had a nice texture, I felt it lacked flavor. Perhaps better seasoning or a more flavorful sauce would make a difference.

The fish and chips and burger with fries were amazing! However, the lobster roll was awful! The lobster smelled fishy was loaded with mayo and was covered in shredded lettuce to disguise the small amount. At the end of the day, choose everything on the menu but the lobster roll. That for $40. was stealing for sure.

Staff stuffed the paper bags with hot-from-the-fryer fries using nothing but their gloved hands (no tongs or scoop). So their hands were covered in hot cooking oil which got all over the inside and outside of the bag (no doubt this was uncomfortable too). They used the same gloved hands to pick up the raw meat burgers before putting them on the grill. Not good. There were quite a few staff there but the vibe was grumpy. Everyone had to order from a single self-serve kiosk which caused quite the line.

Normally I love this place, but after today I don’t know if I’ll ever go back (I’m an airport employee). I placed an order for a burger and fries. And it took 15 minutes. My burger was sitting on the counter for 10 minutes while the staff was hugging each other, patting each other on the back, and chit chatting when the cook looked at my order and said, “Oh, they want fries with this”. So by the time my number was called my burger was lukewarm. HIGHLY unprofessional behavior to showcase in front of customers. Even if most customers will never be back as most are traveling. Disappointing isn’t even the word for this.

The seafood and small bite choices are slim and simple but they range from a simple order of fries to adding lobster to a lucious plate of food. Nothing on the menu will disappoint. There isn’t much seating near the food counter but if the food court isn’t crowded you should be fine.

Food is really, really sub-par quality… Salmon burger for example did not have any salmon in it, a it was more like a donut dough with a smell of salmon 🙁 !???
