The food is amazing! It’s very professional and it’s not bar food! We had the Mezze Platter, but forgot to take a photo! It just looked too good and we dug in! Drinks are delicious! The atmosphere is very welcoming and you feel like Norman from Cheers!

This place was such a wonderful find here in Ottawa! From the moment you walk in, Saffron Bazaar wraps you in an incredibly cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The service is top-notch; the staff is attentive and truly goes above and beyond to make your evening special. The interior is beautifully designed with great attention to detail, making it both stylish and comfortable. Its location on La Salle St is very convenient and easy to find. If you’re looking for a spot with a great vibe and heartfelt service, this is it. I’ll definitely be back!

My husband found this place on Google and we are so happy that we stopped. We would have driven right by and never known it was there. The food was outstanding, the bartender was friendly and the owner is obviously passionate about his food and drinks. I demolished my harissa chicken rice bowl and didn’t have anything for leftovers, which is very rare for me. Don’t sleep on this place!

The Jibba dish was absolutely delicious! I also recommend the Brussels Sprouts with goat cheese was so good! My husband’s Harissa Chicken was also really good.
I tried the Proskovia and it was refreshing and unique.

The jibba and sample platter were amazing! Our server was super informative and friendly. This place is truly a hidden gem in Ottawa. Also cudos for the movie choice in the bar, one of my all time favorites!

There are not enough stars to review this place properly!!! We were welcomed & felt comfortable from the moment we walked in the door, and that speaks volumes for me!!! Ottawa has an amazing little gem right here!!! This is the first time I’ve ever had Mediterranean food, and let me tell ya, the staff was on point!!! Very friendly & informative on the menu selections. They took the time to explain everything thoroughly & had an amazing passion and love for it!! Very cool eclectic atmosphere with a nice game room behind the bar. I forgot to take photos ♀️!! But I highly recommend this place!!! Stop in for a drink at a friendly bar, for dinner, or go shoot a game of pool with your friends!!! I assure you that you won’t be disappointed in checking this place out!!! We’ll definitely be back!! Fantastic authentic food and drinks. This place has a spacious interior with a very nice game room with darts, pinball, air hockey, pool tables, punching bag and more.
Recommend the mezze platter.
Service was perfect.

P.S. Owner also shares another saffron location at Skydive Chicago with a tiki bar/lounge Cafe with more breakfast options added to the menu.
Keep in mind bar hours may be weird because of this.
