Literally the best smash burger we’ve ever had!
I’m not sure how this place isn’t 5 stars
Quality fresh ingredients – produce on burger was fresh, bun wasn’t cheap garbage, meat was perfect with amazing flavor! No gross dripping grease
Also the fries were perfect! Crispy and flavorful.
My husband loved his bacon and blue –

Sammy Smashburger deserves a full 5 stars, not 4.5. The Sammy Special double with Cajun fries was juicy, flavorful, and one of the best smash burgers I’ve ever had. Honest staff, delicious food, and you can tell they take real pride in making these burgers. Wish I had one where I live!

This was so gooood! Saturday burger mission after the Globetrotters at The Moda Center and something brought us all the way to Sammy’s in Fairview. My boo had Mushroom Swiss burger and I had Bacon Blue burger. Both were very satisfying and the fries were a delicious match. It came with dipping sauce, although the cups should be just a little bigger.
The Fork Pod offeres other options for the children. That were equally as good and having a warm and clean place to sit and eat with a yummy beer in hand was exactly what we were looking for!

The guy taking my order was super nice. The next customer walked up and he immediately warned him how long it would take (he was slammed with pick up and my large order). Very friendly. The burgers were delicious! Even after the 20 or so min it took me to sit down and eat after getting back to work, I would still recommend. I can only imagine how good it would be sitting down right away. The “fry sauce” is similar to Burgerville, not your typical ketchup/mayo combo, but I loved it. Absolutely would recommend.

Definitely one of the best burgers that I’ve ever had. The employee was beyond friendly and even gave me a free drink because they were out of grilled onions. This place is definitely a hidden gem, and is one of the few places where everything offered was amazing (like sauce , fries , and burger ). This place is a banger and cannot be glazed enough. Excited to try the Mac and cheese burger next time I pull up to see THE Sammy .

I live close to The Fork so I’m here all the time, and every single time I make a beeline for Sammy’s Smash Burgers. My go-to is the bacon blue cheese burger and it is always so damn good. The only time it threw me off was one visit where the blue cheese tasted a little different—almost like they’d switched brands. I’d asked for extra and didn’t get it at first, so I went back up to the counter. The guy working that day hooked me up with the extra and reassured me it was the same cheese. He was super chill about it and that was that.
Today me and my girlfriend headed down there and I was hyped for my usual, but they were out of both bacon AND mac and cheese. Totally understandable since they must’ve gotten slammed earlier, and I wasn’t mad—just bummed. But what I’m pretty sure was the owner told me my next burger is on him. That kind of customer service from a small food cart is rare.
I recommend this place to anyone who asks where to get a great burger, and I’m gonna keep doing it. Sammy’s is always worth the trip.

I’ve been coming here for lunch every so often over the past couple years and food has always been great. Last time I went there was a new guy, I was a bit skeptical at first because I’m used to just the one guy. I was pleasantly surprised to receive the same fantastic service and food! Glad to see the quality of the owner is being passed to the new employees.

People who work this cart are always super super friendly. Me and my partner were super impressed with the burgers our first time going, but noted in our reveiw that the fries could use more seasoning. Came back this week and got Cajun fries which were perfect 🙂 my favorite place to get burgers
