We’ve been meaning to get up here for a while and today- we finally got here! We are obsessed! We got the Bandeja del Chef and an order of oupusas and we were so impressed with the presentation, and the flavor! Fresh ingredients, perfectly grilled meats, incredible hand made tortillas and lovely traditional drinks – must try! (We had the hibiscus and the tamarind) Simple atmosphere- the focus here is on the food and the people are so, so sweet!

We are actually so happy this place opened in Clinton Township. Finally some real, authentic latin food out here.
We got the plantains, pollo a la milanesa, flour churrasco, and a mangonada and everything was insanely good. The portions are big, the flavor is crazy, and you can tell it’s made with love. The plantains were perfectly sweet, the pollo was crispy but still juicy, and the churrasco was seasoned so well and cooked perfectly. Everything was fresh, everything made to order down to the tortilla.
The mangonada though… that thing is dangerous. We drank it on the way home because it was too fire to wait so no picture because it didn’t survive the car ride.
The people who run the place are some of the kindest, most loving humans. You can feel it when you walk in. They even sell a popular hot sauce from Guatemala and of course we bought a bottle.
We would’ve taken photos but the food was gone in like 10 minutes lol

Found the little place while driving in the area. Not from around here so was surprised to see an authentic Guatemalan restaurant. Food was delicious. Im always craving pupusas and these were on another level. My boyfriend ans I shared an order of pupusas, bandeja, ans Agua fresca. We were both so stuffed but didnt want to stop eating, thata how good the food is. The staff was also incredibly friendly. They genuinely seemed happy to be there and happy that people were enjoying the food. Everything is made fresh to order down to the tortillas. I hope this business continues to thrive. The only negative to this place is that its too far from where i live lol. i live 40m away and wont be able to enjoy the food on a regular basis. Definitely worth the drive at least once a month though. Glad I discovered it and will definitely be back.

I wish I lived closer – I would eat here every week! The service was great – everyone was really friendly and kind, especially Nery. We ate so many different things and every dish was amazing. The camarones en crema might have been my favorite. The baleada is the best I have ever had. We definitely will be coming back!

We were driving through PA and picked this place for dinner. We had a bit longer wait than we had intended, but the food was totally worth the wait! The kids ordered quesadillas and they were large and came with a beautiful/seasoned salad and guacamole. It was enough food for 2 meals for each of our kids. My husband and I weren’t very hungry, so we shared 3 tacos and the plantains. Everything was delicious and we wish we lived closer so we could go back!

We ordered dinner from here tonight and have a couple times before. Every time the food has been consistently good! If you are looking for pupusas I this area, THIS is the place! Staff is always so friendly 🙂 we want to come back and dine-in. The art on the walls is beautiful and it looks like a cozy place to eat. I also tried the shuko today and it was crazy good!
