Ed is an incredibly nice business owner who makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time coming in. The pricing is very fair and you get great quality for what you pay for. When we asked about additions, Ed told us they make the sandwich however we want. We got two pastrami egg and cheese sandwiches, one on rye and one on a bagel. Both were incredible and had generous servings of pastrami. We also got two hash browns and ate those first – they were so crispy and fresh, we called the store and told them we were turning around to pick up more – Ed insisted on not charging us for the second round of hash browns. Do not sleep on the hash browns at Ed’s Deli!!!

The store is also very clean and when you walk in, you can easily see into the back area where the food is prepared and it’s kept very tidy.
We ended up talking to Ed and he told us how they grow their own peppers for their wings sauces. We will be back to try more items on the menu for sure and I look forward to trying all the various wing sauces they have. Thanks Ed for a great experience!

Ed and the staff at Eds Deli are the best. Stopped in with a local while visiting the area. Chicken cutlet sandwich was off the charts delicious. He’s got his own label of soda which hit the spot. Highly recommended

I have been craving a blt for days. I ordered from Ed’s based on the reviews and let me tell you the disappointment when I picked up my food. There were 3 slices of bacon on the sandwich, the lettuce looked like it was ripped off the head and just thrown on and don’t get me started on the bread. Who uses a hamburger bun for a sandwich. What happened to a good ole Kaiser roll. What an absolute waste of money.. This will be my 1st and only time ordering from ED’s.
Also the staff aren’t welcoming at all, they acted as if I was inconveniencing them when I walked in to pick up my food, mind you there wasn’t a single customer in the store.

I have nothing but great things to say about Eds Deli. I have been coming here last few months and not once have I had a bad experience. The breakfast sandwiches are hands down the best around. The round roll is very soft and fresh it literally melts in your mouth. Forget any chain establishments for hoagies. Eds makes everything fresh and you can tell the quality in the meats and rolls. This is a fantastic spot and I would suggest give them a go. They are local buisness and I feel great spending my money at this establishment. They take pride in the products they are serving!

Always a great experience at Ed’s, whether it’s stopping in and picking up a freshly made sandwich for on the go, or staying and eating in. Food is always delicious, and the staff are beyond friendly and helpful. Do yourself and your taste buds a favor, and stop in and get your grub on.

Check this place out quality food at reasonable prices. Friendly staff plus many extra items displayed. Hogies are fresh-cut options for seeded and non-seeded rolls. Quality lunch meats and cheeses soft rolls. The menu is crazy for a small place, plus 10 different wing sauces.

At 10 a.m. we found out there was no dietary staff in the hospital and no food coverage for our ER team. It was one of those stressful moments where you’re trying to problem-solve quickly for a department that never stops moving.

I reached out to our neighbor, Ed’s Deli, not even knowing if they’d be able to help. Not only were they technically closed for the day, but they had already completed a huge order for West Deptford Township.

Without hesitation, they said yes.

By 11 a.m., they had enough food ready to feed our entire ER staff. That kind of generosity, responsiveness, and community support doesn’t go unnoticed — especially by healthcare workers who were already stretched thin.

Ed’s Deli showed up when it truly mattered. We are beyond grateful. Highly recommend supporting a business that supports its community like this. Not to mention everything was fresh and amazing!!!

First time and last time coming here. First red flag was when the girl on the phone asked if I wanted to tip. Why would I tip when I’m picking the food up? I just spent 34$ and you’re asking me for a tip? I even said to my girlfriend, the girl on the phone seemed pissed about it. Thoroughly check the bag to make sure she didn’t screw it up on purpose since I didn’t tip.
I ordered a cheesesteak, two orders of fried pickles, a cannoli, and I asked for my cheesteak to be cut in half which came to 34$. When my girlfriend got there to pick up my order the girl that took my order said she never heard me say I ordered a cannoli, and btw my cheesesteak wasn’t cut after I asked for that as well. So if I didn’t order a cannoli how did one cheesesteak and two orders of fried pickles come to 34$. On their menu it says a cheesesteak is 12.50 and one order of fried pickles is 6.99, so you do the math. Of course when my girlfriend got home and told me they said I never ordered a cannoli, I went right to my receipt and what do you know? The receipt doesn’t tell you the exact price of any item, just your total that you owe. Stay far away from this place, they got a thief working the register. If you don’t tip over the phone they’ll butcher your order but still take your money.

I normally cook breakfast at home but every now and then I stop at DD or McDonald’s. Decided to do something different and googled breakfast near me. So glad I did. Ed’s is definitely a jewel. I ordered the 2 meat egg and cheese on French toast bagel. Delicious, ate half in the parking lot and the other at my first stop. It was my first time but it definitely won’t be the last

Ed’s Deli is the best deli in West Deptford in my opinion. The ladies at the register are so nice, I walk in and they know our names and 9 times out of 10 already know what we want. The bread is insanely good and pairs so well with the deli meats. You also get best bang for your buck as far as price. Check them out, you won’t be disappointed!
