I took my amazing girlfriend to Provincetown for a day trip and she asked that we “wing it.” “Wing it” = “don’t spend an hour on Yelp looking for places to go. Let’s just ‘roll with it.'” This is well outside of my wheelhouse, but she’s awesome, so I agreed.
Which is how we ended up at Kabob-e-licious, a restaurant with the least Cape Cod name in all of Provincetown.
We ordered the small chicken kabob (#duh) and the Mediterranean Platter so we could sample several things. And because she wanted hummus.
The kabobs were well-seasoned and the platter was … fine. We didn’t have a bite we didn’t like (except maybe when my g/f inadvertently bit into my olive pit but that’s another story), and we didn’t have a bite that prompted us to say, “that is freaking delicious.”
The meal was also more expensive than I had imagined, given the portions/flavor.
Would I go again? No. Am I glad to see some culinary diversity in Provincetown? You bet.
Hope this helps.
Portions and taste can be better.
We had vegetarian food and enjoyed the soft naan and palak paneer.
It’s family owned and the owner is very sweet and came out to talk to us to make sure everything was okay.
We both ordered a meal deal with steak and chicken kabobs and we got rice and fries as our sides and everything tasted fresh and we’ll seasoned. We are definitely returning on our next vacation here!
The service was excellent and very kind! Our family enjoyed dining on the porch and will definitely be going back again on our next visit to Provincetown. This family definitely takes pride in their service and goes above and beyond to give you a great dining experience.
Me and my friends decided to go in after seeing the appealing food menu which consisted of Indian fusion dishes. After entering we found this restaurant with an average ambience but we still wanted to try the food dishes.
When the food arrived I was surprised to see the portion size which was very small. Each dish costed around $20, for this price I expected it to be at least moderately filling. I ordered Jumbo shrimps and one of my friend ordered some shrimp curry, the shrimps were small and my Jumbo shrimps were even smaller than regular shrimps.
To suffice my hunger, I had to order another dish which again had a small portion. So in total I paid $40 for single meal without any drinks and still couldn’t satisfy my hunger.
