Stopped in on a whim. Two incredible burritos (very generous portions) and a tres leches dessert for about $40. Lovely staff, highly recommend!

A fantastic little Mexican restaurant that is simply serving delicious food. They have tasty, authentic Mexican food in generous portions.
The fajitas were perfectly seasoned with fresh veggies, rice, beans, and warm tortillas. The clean, open-concept kitchen showcased their good food handling practices, and the staff were kind and attentive.
Friendly service and great food make this spot a must-visit in Philly.

Food is delicious at a good price. The building is cool, a little oasis on a quiet and atmospheric industrial block. The family running the place are lovely. Service is fast and friendly. They were out of Jarritos tamarindo flavor last time, so they made me a glass of tamarind soda FROM SCRATCH, asking me about how much sugar I wanted and everything, it was perfect. Just a great stop, go eat here and support a local place.

Boy, This Place Is a great place. Apparently a Family Owned venture, here for over 20 years, It was close to the Concert I was going to, so I went in. Being a Day where I wanted something other than meat, I asked and they had an assortment of Meals w/o meat. They served a Wonderful Fresh Pineapple Juice and I ordered the Fish quesadilla. The Juice was Fresh and the Fish came out quickly, and was well grilled (although it wasn’t Bulging with Fish). You can even see the guys making your food.
Overall I’d recommend this place for a quick Bite to eat Under $20.

I Was In The Area & Had A Taste For Mexican Food. Found This Spot & Decided To Give It A Chance. The Food Was Decent. I Didn’t Like That The Protein Was Already Cooked & All The Cook Did Was Throw It On The Grill For A Lil. Fresh Food Doesn’t Take Long To Cook On The Grill. So, I’m Only Giving It 3 Stars Because Of This.

First time trying El Caracol. Not too bad.
I ordered the fajitas with the option for two proteins. So, I decided on chicken and chorizo. Both meats were tender. Overall, the fajitas were good. However, the rice and beans were served cold! I hope they work on that. The Pico de gallo and guacamole were fresh.
Not pictured – the mango juice. That was also good and it wasn’t overly sweet.
The restaurant is a corner building – small but clean.
The staff during the time of my visit was very nice!

Some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! These guys just opened recently and are killing it. Fantastic tacos and nachos, and the chicken platter was phenomenal. Reuben and the guys are super chill, and the setting inside is a good vibe! You’ve got a long term customer in me, best authentic restaurant I’ve been to so far
