My father goes here or orders from here at least twice a week. Yesterday was my first time trying this restaurant, and I have to say it did not disappoint. I love Thai food, I got the green curry with chicken and steamed rice, the veggie spring rolls and the chicken wings. My dad got the Pho Noodle Soup with Jalapeños on the side and steamed rice, we also got the crispy catfish. So good, a lot of flavor, the portions are decent. I have leftovers for lunch today. Would order from again. Thank you!!

Great spot to stop for dinner. I love Thai food and the drunken noodle was delicious plus the cocktails were creative and well made. The server was very helpful and got us their separate vegan menu, and everything was really reasonably priced.

Living in D.C., we’re big fans of the Tiki Garden Thai Street Food on H Street NE. It was a pleasant surprise to see another location in Alexandria. If you love Thai food, go here! The inside space is no-frills, but it’s spacious and service is always friendly and efficient.

The menu has all the usual Thai suspects and everything is delicious. If you like spice, order the Spicy Basil Fried Rice with chicken. With no spice, my seven-year-old daughter loved the Thai Fried Rice with chicken. Portions are large!

For dessert, the mango and sticky rice is worth getting. The rice is black, but tastes like the dessert you’re used to.

To drink, I enjoyed the Thai iced tea and my daughter enjoyed the lemonade. It strikes the right balance of sour and sweet.

Our entire bill came to just under $50 for the two of us.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon and had a great experience. Service was fast and efficient. I ordered crispy pork strips to start and they came out fast and hot. Flavor was amazing and the dipping sauce added a lot. For a main meal I got drunken noodles with pork. It was spicy without asking for any extra spice which was nice. Great portions for the price. It is still in a soft opening so it is being worked on and the bar is not set yet. No alcohol yet but it is coming. I am sure once the grand opening happens it will be a solid 5!!

If it wasn’t for the rice….

I came here hoping to find a new Thai spot. I ordered based on the Google photos. The staff was very nice. I tried two appetizers, the fried chicken and curry dumplings. The server did offer to remake the curry puffs, I passed. I wasn’t a huge fan of either appetizer. I almost counted the restaurant out.

If it wasn’t for the spicy Thai basil rice with beef I would have counted it out. The rice was good. I’ll go for a normal level of spice if I come back.

Updating my review based on the response from the restaurant which that was changed 9 hours ago. The original response came off a little more friendly. Please note that a review is my opinion based on my experience with my food. It does not represent all of the food items. I didn’t like the puff because some of my potatoes were hard and the puff was doughy. I let the server know upon first bite and I didn’t want them remade. I was not charged for the item. I was never rude in my response and did not state that I would not return. Thanks

We ordered the Rocket Shrimp as a appetizer. For our main courses we had Basil rice and Pad Kapao with Shrimp. Everything was delicious. The food was hot and it all had a fresh taste. The server was quick to get our order and bring our drinks. The food came out pretty quickly. This is my second time here and I will be back.

EDIT–Updated per this bizarre response from the owner

My pho sadly did not have the hoisin and sriracha sauces included. Really wish the vegetarian and vegan options were more clearly labeled, and that there was an option to add tofu to the pho.
We also added the curry puffs, and while delicious, there were only 2 which seems too few for $9.

I ordered takeout from Tiki Garden Thai specifically because it offered green papaya salad on its menu. I also ordered Pad Thai Jae.
The order came more quickly than expected, and was packaged in cardboard rather than Styrofoam or plastic, which was great! The Pad Thai had great flavor and the portion size was generous. However, despite a short distance between my home and the restaurant, the Pad Thai arrived only lukewarm. And the green papaya salad seemed to include all the right ingredients, but was soggy and overly sweet.
Still, it was a good meal that I didn’t have to cook or clean up after.
