I have stopped for breakfast and lunch a few times over the past year, passing through. The food and service is OK. I cannot say the same for the atmosphere. The load political talk is disgusting, unless you think Trump is the second coming. My last visit was really bad. A group at the back table were celebrating the woman in MN being shot multiple times in the head. They repeatedly said she deserved it. They repeated many lies. It was like a table of Jan 6ers, loud and disgusting. Some of the wait staff were sitting with them. I’m done. I will not enter that house of hate again.

Old style dining. The morning we were there, the owner had decided to close after breakfast, didn’t expect it to be busy, and only had one waitress working. Nobody was in a hurry and one of the customers even helped to wipe off tables. This may not appeal to many people, but we absolutely loved watching this kind of community. Food was fantastic, food was cheaper than expected, and we got exactly what we wanted out of the experience.

Stayed a few days in Hillsboro on our way home to Pittsburgh and decided to try a local joint for a good breakfast. This place did not disappoint. The omelets, fried potatoes & hashbrown were delicious! And super reasonable prices!!
Only issue was that there was only 1 waitress & the place was almost at capacity. She did an awesome job though. She was very attentive, refilling our coffees without being asked & running around making sure all patrons were satisfied. Five stars to her personally!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My friends surprised me for a birthday lunch! I have never been here til today! Very simple but delicious food! Wait staff is down to earth and easy to get along with! A good little restaurant ina small town! Clean, good sized menu, lots of options!!
