Pokemoto is hands down my favorite place to stop in Petaluma. The atmosphere is relaxed, and you truly get great value for your money. The prices are fair, the portions are generous, and the food is consistently fresh.
I love that they offer both poke bowls and sushi burritos, giving you plenty of options to choose from. The staff is always friendly and works efficiently, making every visit easy and enjoyable. They also offer both indoor and outdoor seating, along with a solid boba selection to round out the meal.
We’re from out of town, but we always make a point to stop here whenever we’re passing through. With multiple shops nearby, it’s the perfect spot to grab a delicious meal at Pokemoto and enjoy a little shopping afterward. I highly recommend this hidden gem.

Delicious poke and boba. I got the regular sizes for both for $30 including tip. It was very filling. The workers were very kind. They gave me water for my puppy in the car since it was hot out and while I was giving her some, the young man came out and brought my boba to my car.

This was our second time going to Pokemoto and it had been excellent both times. We had the pleasure of being served by one of the owners – he clarified that his wife is the other owner and he always wants to make sure to acknowledge her. I found this very sweet. We described our preferred flavor profiles and he suggested delicious combos of sauces (all made in house), and let us try options. Our poke bowls were delicious when we sat down to eat. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back!

I take a work trip to Santa Rosa once a year and we never fail to stop here since it is our absolute favorite poke spot! The staff are friendly and kind, the atmosphere is uplifting and the food *drool* so GOOD! There are so many options and the portion size if perfect I personally love the salmon but let’s be honest, there is nothing there I wouldn’t eat, its all so tasty! 10 out of 10 would (and have) recommended and cant wait until my next experience.

Elmer was great and made us feel very welcome. He customized the sauces on our poke bowls to each of our individual preferences and let us taste test them beforehand. We received great recommendations and were all very satisfied with our food. The coffee milk tea I got was good and sweet but not overwhelmingly sweet, and the boba was fresh. 10/10 would go again.

Support this local business owner! I met the owner Elmer completely by chance. Number one he is a genuinely good person. Elmer made the invitation to come to Pokemoto and I honestly couldn’t drive here fast enough, ( fyi I’m a sucker for a poke bowl). I was greeted by the staff there with a smile and they even took the time to explain to me all of the options that were available. There are a lot by the way! At last I get to sit down to and eat. The fish is super fresh, the sauces are flavorful, and the crunchy bits really set this whole thing off. I am a foodie through and through even if the food is mediocre, I’m happy. However, Pokemoto was not good. It was excellent. My experience was that the service was top-notch. The food was super fresh. The storefront is extremely clean and I will tell you as a poke connoisseur that this place has made it into my regular rotation of local businesses that I will be supporting!

The best poke I’ve ever had. I picked large poke bowl for two and it was more than enough. Fresh ingredients and you pick as many toppings as you like and prefer. The customer service is fantastic. The place is cute and very clean. Their boba is also good 100% recommend!!!

I ordered their chicken bowl, regular size. Prices not listed. Cost $17. The quality was very good but the amount of chicken was very small. I’m guessing less than 2 Oz. I have never seen such a small amount of chicken in a chicken bowl. I was still quite hungry. Based on small portions and not listing their prices, I will not go back.

Highly recommend! This place is a gem! The poke is incredibly fresh, with a variety of delicious toppings that elevate every bite. The spicy shrimp miso soup is absolutely superb – perfect for warming up on a cold day. And don’t miss the taro milk tea; it’s refreshing and the perfect complement to the meal. ♥️♥️♥️
