I recently had the pleasure of ordering from ‘Just like home cooking’ and I must say it was an experience to remember! This place offers a delightful array of dishes that capture the essence of Mediterranean cuisine, and it does so with a flair that’s hard to beat. I opted for their signature Grilled Chicken with roasted veggies and basmati rice was so delicious and the chicken was very moist.

May makes dinner easy, I’ve enjoyed the Beef stew. Roasted veggies, cabbage rolls and several other main dishes and sides. All are seasoned to perfection , large portions and best of all, dinner is ready when I walk through my door!!! I highly recommend both the key lime pie and rice pudding.

Ordered the maqluba and stuffed cabbage rolls so that we could take a break from cooking. It was amazing! The way both dishes were carefully prepared, seasoned, and cooked made them explode with flavor. The chicken in the maqluba was very tender and literally melted in your mouth. The stuffed cabbage rolls were incredibly good too. I highly recommend May’s cooking if you’re looking for a hearty, satisfying meal for the whole family.

Last Friday I tried Just Like Home Cooking for the first time. The online ordering and payment process was simple. The key is you have to place your order before noon on the day that you want to pick up the food. When I arrived to pick up my order, May had the food ready for me. It smelled so good I could hardly wait to get home to try it.
I ordered the kefta, brown lentil soup, tabouleh, and baklava for dessert. Portions were generous, and the flavor was outstanding. The lentil soup was particularly tasty, but my favorite was the baklava which was crispy and sweet – way better than any I’ve tried in the past. My son, who is not usually a fan of Mediterranean food, absolutely loved it and wanted to order more the next night.
Give yourself a break this evening and give Just Like Home a try. You will be so happy you did.

Just Like Home Cooking prepared lunch for 14 ladies in our church group. Baked Chicken, Rice, Sautéed Vegetables & Salad & Dessert. The whole group enjoyed & loved it all. I personally loved the vegetables, salad & Key Lime Pie. That Key Lime Pie was the best ever! Yummy!

Can’t say enough good things about this place. The food is delicious, it really does taste “just like home.” The process is easy- when I know I can’t cook for my family it’s easy to order ahead and just pick up on the way. Can still get delicious and nutritious meals on the table for the family even if I have a late meeting. This is strictly a take out business, and you get so much food you’ll have lunch for the next day too.

I’ve had the chicken enchiladas (delicious and very large portion) and baked chicken, roasted vegetables and turmeric rice. All perfectly seasoned. But the top of the must try is the key lime pie! Silky smooth and just the right balance of sweet and tart.
