Returned again and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious, the fireplace seating made it feel warm and intimate, and the cocktails were creative and beautifully crafted. Lou, the owner, was attentive and genuinely welcoming. Always a wonderful experience- will definitely be back!

I visited Townhouse in Greenwich today for Valentine’s Day and had very mixed feelings about the experience.

The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish we ordered was flavorful and clearly made with care. The presentation was beautiful — everything looked elegant and thoughtfully plated, which made the meal feel special and perfect for the occasion.

Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food. We experienced very long wait times throughout the evening and repeatedly had to flag down staff just to get basic assistance. It was difficult to get anyone’s attention, and the overall service felt disorganized and inattentive — especially disappointing on a holiday like Valentine’s Day when you expect things to run smoothly.

While the kitchen clearly delivers in terms of quality and presentation, the service experience really took away from what should have been a memorable evening. I hope they can improve the front-of-house operations to match how good the food truly is.

Wow, This Place Sparkles!
What a delightful surprise! Ditching our usual fancy spot, we stumbled upon this gem after spotting great reviews and decided in 10 minutes to dive in. The vibe? Absolutely electric—my photos don’t do it justice! The hostess greeted us with the warmest smile, dishing out perfect menu picks, and the owner’s charm made us feel like family. Service was flawless despite the lively crowd. The dishes looked like art, though the lobster and fish were a smidge salty. Still, this place is pure magic—can’t wait to return!

Valentine’s Day dinner at Townhouse was honestly one of the worst restaurant experiences we’ve had in Greenwich, especially for the price. They imposed a $200 per couple prix fixe menu and we were not told up front during the reservation process. Once you’re seated, you’re basically stuck with whatever they decided to serve, with barely any real choices, which felt unfair and misleading.

The service was chaotic from start to finish. Waiters were running around like it was a fire drill, and our table sat empty for long stretches. It took about two hours to get through a meal that was barely a meal. Timing was completely off, courses dragged, and nobody seemed in control of the room.

The food itself did not come close to justifying the cost. The appetizer and desert were tiny and even stranger, both were shared per couple, which felt cheap for a fixed-price dinner. The branzino was so small it reminded me of a sunfish, and it came on top of five sad roasted potato halves. For a Valentine’s prix fixe in Greenwich, this was embarrassing.

If you’re going to charge premium pricing for a special occasion menu, you need to be transparent at booking, organized in execution, and deliver food that matches the price. This did none of the above. We left feeling like we paid for stress and disappointment, not dinner.

An absolutely perfect spot for Valentine’s Day. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt intimate and inviting—soft lighting, cozy seating, and a calm, romantic energy that set the tone for the evening. The food was outstanding from start to finish. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor, clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients.

The service truly elevated the experience—attentive without being intrusive, thoughtful, and genuinely warm. It felt like the staff wanted every couple to enjoy a special night. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience that balanced great food, excellent service, and a romantic ambiance. Highly recommended for couples looking to celebrate something special.

Liked everything about this place. The hostess greeted us with a huge smile and sat us in one of the back rooms. For an appetizer we had calamari, it was cooked so good. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, seasoned with a unique flavor that was so addicting that we ordered another one. We both had the branzino, it was cooked to perfection one of the best ever had. You can tell the kitchen staff knows how to handle seafood. We did save room for desert and the crème burlee was delicious. The night went so well thanks to Darcy our server.

Townhouse was absolutely incredible for Valentine’s Day! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, romantic, and perfectly set for a special night. The lighting, music, and overall vibe made it feel intimate without being over the top.

The food, though… next level. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor, but the spicy tuna? To die for. It was unbelievably fresh with just the right amount of heat — perfectly balanced, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Honestly, I’m still thinking about it.

The service was attentive and thoughtful, making the whole evening feel effortless and special. If you’re looking for the perfect spot to celebrate love (or just treat yourself), Townhouse absolutely delivers. We’ll definitely

What an excellent dining experience! As soon as you get in your car it’s valet parked. The dining area is dimly lit to see a very romantic mood. The hostess and waiter did a phenomenal job of getting us seated and taking care of all of our dining needs. For starters we had the octopus which was absolutely delicious, a big enough portion to share. The bread service was delicious, the bread was warm and paired with olive oil. Four our entrees I chose the double cut pork chop served with asparagus and my girlfriend had the roasted chicken. Both entrees were so good. The double cut pork chop was cooked perfectly. To end the night we had the blueberry strudel which were served with ice cream! Amazing!!! We definitely enjoyed our dinner and will be back to try other items on the menu.

We made Valentines reservations at Townhouse Greenwich and had a wonderful night. The Valet and Host greeted us with warm smiles and with no wait time. We sat in this quaint room temperature was great and music was perfect. Now let me get to the food…. By far the calamari was the best I ever had that sauce was exquisite. My Branzino was cooked perfectly, crispy around the edges yet tasty not dry. The Brussel sprouts were another favorite. A must try! I was able to take a tour of the restaurant and although I didn’t sit in the atrium this time, that is where I will request my table next time. My night was enchanting, Can’t wait to return. Service, food, atmosphère 10/10!
