Such a nice little place and the coffee was delicious. If you dine in you get your coffee or tea in porcelain cups which is something I have never seen offered in my area. I wish it was closer to me so we could come more often if you are local or in town make sure to come by and check them out. It has such a welcoming atmosphere and they also have a menu of items you can order from. My daughter got the gluten free cookie and said it was delicious.

A nice little Hickory Niche. It’s not the best coffee place in town but it does have its own identity. The parking is tough, and leaving can be very hard. It’s not super kid friendly, and they don’t have an area you can really bring them.
The Mint Latta was amazing as was the Lox, and at the end of the day that’s what matters the most.
I wanted to rate this place higher but the service is very average and the flaws from before make it not as good as some of the other places in town.

Finally made it to Waterbean and glad I did. It’s a quaint coffee shop that is stylish, vibrant and chill.
Great open airy and naturally bright dining area that can accommodate variety of party sizes.
Very helpful staff who are kind and serviceable.
Really like the variety of drinks offered fun coffee to tea, and smoothies to pour overs.
Waterbean also has a delightful food menu with many freshly made items.

Matcha: 7.5/10! Not the worst or best ive had but I appreciate that the powder they use comes unsweetened. The price is reasonable, I had it with almond milk and it was $5.88 (?)
Barista was super nice and the buildings cute. The only qualm I have is the parking, its really tight but just be careful!

This was the first “local” coffee spot we discovered after moving from Florida, and we still have yet to have a bad experience! They have a large selection and this location is usually pretty quiet for those mornings where you are barely moving. The staff are always super friendly and are very creative with some of the awesome drinks they have come up with.

Coffee was quite good – but did take a while. Drinks are measured out per shot and ground per shot, which does take add’l time. And it was quite expensive. 2 drinks were $14. And parking isn’t ideal: one-way to the back with just a few tight spots. Parking also behind the restaurant next door is probably the best. It takes time for things to get a groove so I will go back again and update after that. Update: I’ve been here about 10x now. Coffee is very good. Food is a bit lacking for the cost; I.e. salmon bagel has about 1/2 oz of salmon one time and 2oz another time. They inconsistently either call the food name and leave it at the bar, and sometimes they bring it to the table. Would be much easier to take the customer name like that main stream place [hint hint]. This creates frustration for people that got up to get theirs. The bus tray for dirty dishes is comically small – holds about 2 dishes.
