Stopped by to eat before a show and sat at the bar. Bartender sees me sitting and never approach me and asked what I like. Sat for 10 minutes and no recognition. But waiting on everyone else. Terrible customer service. Will never go back. I guess they don’t serve black folks. Then right when I get out of my seat then she approaches me.

Nice, relaxing bar & grill with an excellent vibe, all due to the wicked friendly staff. The vibrant bartender (Gina) asked what my name was and informed me that Brewers is a cash only establishment. No problem since there’s an ATM on site and I usually carry enough to cover dinner. I very much enjoyed the cod sandwich w/fries and will surely be returning soon to try more menu items. They have great buns and I’ve heard the burger is delicious. I’m glad I found such a cool local establishment.

We stopped for lunch on a Sat. afternoon. It was full of people watching the game, but not loud and rowdy. The food was very good. It’s been a couple of years since I was there, but we’ll be back more often.

Bartender told me to kill myself and drive 90 into a tree. Made fun of me crying. Never expected to be bullied as an adult but here we are. Her name is Alexis and she should be fired. That’s absolutely crazy to speak to someone you don’t know like that. And on the clock as well. This place needs a better bartender

I would highly recommend if you are thinking of eating here, to visit somewhere else. They only take cash, and they don’t let you know until you get the bill. Then they point you to the ATM that charges $4 per transaction.
The food is mediocre at best. The server was very unprofessional and advised us to avoid certain foods as “they are not good.”. The food that was recommended to us was not good.
To answer the questions from the owner. I was there last Saturday 10/8 around noon for lunch. My wife asked about the chicken wrap and about the Philly cheese steak. When she decided to order the cheese steak, the server said no you can’t have that. The cheesesteak is horrible and the wrap is the way to go. I then was going to order a double cheeseburger and she told me that it would be too much for me to eat and that I should only order the single. So I ordered the single and left still hungry. The server also made a big deal about us not having the full menu because there was a car show in town and that the menu we had was only a partial. If there is a sign that says cash only, it is not prominently displayed. I never saw it once. I would assume that would be something displayed on the door so people would be able to make a decision on whether to dine there or not based on whether or not they had cash.
However, based on my one time dining there, I would recommend that nobody eat there.

I am from Lowpoint Illinois passing through on my way to Shawnee national Forest for deer hunting Google search places to eat because I do not eat fast food wanted to try something local found Brewers bar and Grill ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it was one of the best bacon cheeseburgers I’ve ever tried Will come back again thank you
