You arrive for your reservation right on time to enjoy your traditional Afternoon Tea, or Luncheon or Tea & Scones (a.k.a. Cream Team). You select a one-of-a-kind vase with fresh or silk florals for a friend and decide to create an exquisite tea-time experience at home with your new favorite tea and lemon curd from our large selection of luxury teas and our British pantry. You order two dozen scones for your party. You imagine showing off your new vintage art and teapot! You can’t wait to send out the invitations. You go home and ship your new favorite tea online to your friends who live out of town! It’s a Southern Seasons Day!

We had such a wonderful time! The atmosphere is so quaint and beautifully decorated with fresh flowers on every table. We were able to sample both iced and hot tea. The food was delicious and well presented! I especially enjoyed the herb scones (with clotted cream of course) and the cucumber sandwiches. There is a lot of food that comes with the tea! It was a wonderful experience and I would definitely come back!

For my 30th birthday this year, I thought it would be so fun to have a tea party with some friends, and Southern Seasons was the PERFECT place to celebrate!! They were able to accommodate our large group size and and had gluten free options for those who had dietary needs. The tea room is absolutely gorgeous, and the food and tea were beyond delicious! They had an array of sandwiches, scones and other treats to choose from, and everything was wonderful! Hannah was our hostess, and she did an absolutely fabulous job taking care of us!! She also helped packed up the leftover food for us, which was a huge help! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and a better way to celebrate my birthday this year! Everyone had such an amazing time and I will never forget it!!

A must visit when in Rome, GA!
I was looking to dine at a Tea Room while visiting Georgia.
I came across the charming Southern Seasons Tea Room online and decided to make a brief getaway to Rome GA. While the journey was much longer than I expected, it was totally worth it.
Upon my arrival I was warmly greeting by Courtney. She introduced me to four freshly brewed ice teas, one of which I was to choose as part of my lunch menu. Difficult to chose just one.
The Venue
As soon as I drove in and saw their signage, I knew I was going to have an exceptional experience.
Absolutely beautiful. No detail was spared in the decor and themed tables.
The Food
My menu of choice included finger sandwiches, appetizer and dessert. Very filling, I ended up taking a few sandwiches to go.
They offer a selection of lunch options on line. I love their ease of reserving, selecting and paying on line.
The Teas
They have teas I have never heard of. I decided to purchase a Scottish Breakfast tea.
The Staff

Southern Seasons is the perfect day trip destination, I look forward to returning.

Thoroughly enjoyed a delightful tea with friends today. The tea room was decorated for the December holiday. Our table was in the center of the room, but there are also sofas and chair settings with a tea table setting for more intimate conversations. Beautiful China placesettings.
3 courses included chicken salad croissant, pimento cheese sandwich, cucumber sandwich, savory and chocolate scones with clotted cream. Dessert nibbles of macaroons, chocolate round brownies with cherry cream filling, madelines and chocolate covered grapes. A choice of 2 hot or cold teas.
There is also an extensive choice of teas from four plus different brands to purchase along with tea cups, infusers and tea pots.
Definitely worth a visit to Rome, Georgia.

My daughter, granddaughter, and I were at the tea room Friday, May 23 for luncheon. The place is decorated beautifully, the food was absolutely delicious, and our server, Hannah was so very friendly and helpful! We enjoyed our visit so much and will definitely be coming back as soon and as often as possible!

My daughters and I had a lovely time. The atmosphere was so calm and inviting; while also making us feel a little fancy. The service was amazing!! Every waitress was SO sweet and friendly and they really made us feel cared for while also giving us time to enjoy each other. My girls felt like royalty and are excited to return! The tea was fantastic!! And that is coming from someone who isn’t crazy about tea… my girls had never tried tea and even found one they loved! I was so impressed by the variety! The food was presented so beautifully and was actually plenty! Again the variety of sweets and savories were amazing!! It just kept coming! We can not wait to have another “tea party”! This is such a wonderful thing offered at a wonderful location.

My friend and I just happened to be in Rome for the day. We found the tearoom by accident. We didn’t have a reservation but they were so nice and welcomed us in. The food was delightful and the service was outstanding. I was happy they offered a good selection of decaf tea. We will definitely visit again.

We spent a wonderful afternoon at the beautifully decorated and outfitted Southern Seasons Teas. They offered afternoon tea, prompt and friendly service from Hannah (who was very informed about the tea selections) and delicious tea snacks. My husband and I felt so welcomed by all the staff and the owner, Haley who went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. We can’t wait to return! Rome Georgia surely has a treasure in Southern Seasons!

We had a small intimate baby shower for afternoon tea service. What a lovely time spent with family celebrating two mothers to be. We adorned ourselves with hats, dressed accordingly, and this place was the perfect setting!
Haley, the owner was very joyful and accommodating. I enjoyed her presence, her smile lights up the room and makes you feel welcome. The service provided by Esme, Hannah and Virginia were outstanding. This was a last minute event so the week prior to the event I had questions, Esme was very kind and informative each time.
The place was exactly what we wanted in a par-tea! The variety of teas we had were aromatic and so good. The food was delicious. They were also accommodating to meet the needs of allergies to nuts & berries. The atmosphere, the service, the laughter, and the beautiful music by Esme as a pianist was top notch!
We felt as though we made friends In this place of business, that made us feel like home! We can’t wait to gather again!
